Still not fit Kimpembe (Achilles) will be missing Wednesday's match against Milan as he continues his rehabilitation process, according to the club.
Impact Kimpembe is still working on his return as he goes through the rehabilitation process and will not be an option for Wednesday's contest. He still seems a way out of a recovery and will most likely spend a couple more weeks injured. Once he does return, expect him to get a nod in the starting XI immediately, splitting time with Milan Skriniar and Marquinhos.
OCTOBER 24, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Continues rehabilitation Kimpembe will not be an option for Saturday's match against Strasbourg as he continues his recovery process.
Impact Kimpembe will not be available once again after the club announced he is still working on his recovery protocol. The club will hope to get the defender back soon, as he has yet to play a single minute this season due to his injury. A return shouldn't be far for the player, and he should be expected to be back within the next couple of weeks.
OCTOBER 20, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Still far from full health Kimpembe (Achilles) is still not training ahead of Tuesday's match with Dortmund and "continues his rehabilitation work," the team announced Monday.
Impact Kimpembe still seems to be far from full health after not training with the team to start the week. He has now been going through rehabilitation work for the past two weeks and is still yet to touch the training pitch. At this pace, it could be a while before we see the French defender touch the field again. His expected return date is only in two weeks, but with the current progress, it may be pushed back even further into October.
SEPTEMBER 18, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Not training with squad Kimpembe (Achilles) has yet to resume training with the squad and is "continuing his treatment protocol," per the team's release Thursday.
Impact At this point, Kimpembe looks no closer to getting back onto the pitch and should probably be considered out indefinitely still due to his long-term injury. Even once the defender is cleared to play, he figures to be hard-pressed to secure regular first-team minutes, making him a relative non-factor in fantasy contests.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Not playing against Lyon Kimpembe (Achilles) is not in the squad to face Lyon on Sunday.
Impact Kimpembe has been training individually in recent weeks but has yet to take part in sessions with the whole team, so he's not ready to make his return yet. His next chance to play will come against Nice on Sep. 17 after the international break.
SEPTEMBER 2, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Running individually Kimpembe (Achilles) returned to individual running Friday, PSG announced.
Impact Kimpembe was back on the pitch Friday, though only running individually. The defender is coming back from a long-term Achilles surgery and has no definite timeline for his return. Still running on grass is a good sign that Kimpembe hasn't suffered any setbacks.
AUGUST 11, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to bench in friendly Kimpembe (Achilles) was on the bench for a 3-0 friendly win over Jeonbuk.
Impact Kimpembe didn't come off the bench during the friendly win but he was available. The defender is unlikely to get any major playing time as he continues to work his way back from an Achilles tendon injury though he could be a bench option for limited minutes.
AUGUST 9, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out for rest of season Kimpembe suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and is ruled out for the rest of the season, L'Equipe reports.
Impact Kimpembe has been dealt another massive blow this season with his latest serious injury. He's set to undergo a surgery this week from which the recovery period should be about eight or nine months, which means he'll also miss big chunk in the beginning of the next season, as well. In his absence Danilo will likely see the biggest increase in playing time, though Nordi Mukiele could also benefit with some starts at center-back.
FEBRUARY 27, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Gets stretchered off Le Classique Kimpembe was stretchered off the pitch in the 16th minute of Sunday's match versus Marseille with a suspected hamstring injury.
Impact Kimpembe suffered a non-contact issue as he just collapsed on the ground while making a run back on defense and at this early stage appears to have suffered a tough blow. He already missed significant chunks of time this season with injuries and this could be another massive blow for him. If tough injury is confirmed and he's forced to miss more time Danilo should see some time on the back line unless PSG switches to a four-man back line.
FEBRUARY 26, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Could feature versus Monaco Kimpembe (achilles) was named in the 20-man squad for Saturday's match versus Monaco.
Impact Kimpembe has now been in full training for over a week and should be able to make the final cut this time around. That being said though, he's barely played all season due to injuries and likely won't be forced to heavy minutes right off the gate in his return.
FEBRUARY 10, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Remains sidelined versus Toulouse Kimpembe (achilles) didn't make the 20-man squad for Saturday's match versus Toulouse.
Impact Kimpembe returned to full training Thursday but given he's been mostly injured all season, PSG apparently want to be cautious with him and will keep him on the shelf for at least another game. Sergio Ramos is also out which will see Danilo slide back on defense.
FEBRUARY 3, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Returns to full training Thursday Kimpembe has returned to full training Thursday and could be available for Saturday's match versus Toulouse.
Impact Kimpembe is finally fully back on the pitch though with merely 15 minutes of action since October and just one start since early September he'll surely be reintegrated slowly to action and may need at least a few games before bidding for a starting role again.
FEBRUARY 2, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Resumes individual training Kimpembe (achilles tendon) has resumed individual training and is expected back in full training Monday, L'Equipe reports.
Impact Kimpembe is finally back on the pitch after missing since before the World Cup. If all goes according to plan without any setbacks he may even be set for official return midweek at Montpllier or next weekend versus Toulouse at the latest.
JANUARY 27, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out for at least four weeks Kimpembe (achilles tendon) will continue his recovery for at least four more weeks.
Impact Kimpembe will alternate between receiving treatment and completing individualized training sessions as he recovers from tendinitis in his right Achilles tendon. That means more playing time for Nordi Mukiele and Danilo at center-back for the time being.
DECEMBER 27, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out for L1 restart Kimpembe is set to miss the Ligue 1 restart due to an achilles tendon injury, L'Equipe reports.
Impact Kimpembe missed the World Cup due to this problem but his recovery has been moving very slow and the still lingering issue will keep the defender out for at least one game and possibly more after the restart. Marquinhos is back from Qatar on time and along with Sergio Ramos should be able to cover the center-back spots.

The other defenders on the roster are Lucas Hernandez, Jules Kounde, Ibrahima Konate, Benjamin Pavard, William Saliba, Dayot Upamecano, and Raphael Varane.
