Julian Gressel - Takes two shots in win Gressel took two shots (one on target) and created a chance in Friday's 2-1 victory against the Dynamo. He also made three clearances and an interception in the match.
Impact Gressel has made a good first impression in Vancouver, as he's recorded at least one shot and one chance created in all three of his appearances since moving from D.C. in mid-July. He has quickly locked down the starting right wing-back spot for his new side.

Ryan Gauld - Creates three chances in win Gauld took three shots (one on target) and created three chances in Friday's 2-1 victory against the Dynamo.
Impact Gauld has been on a tear since the start of July as he's averaging 3.7 shots (one on target) and 2.7 chances created per game across his last six MLS appearances, with a goal and two assists in that span.

Darwin Quintero - Creates two chances in loss Quintero created a chance and won one of two tackles in Friday's 2-1 defeat against the Whitecaps.
Impact Quintero was back in the XI in attacking midfield on Friday, but he couldn't do enough to earn a result for his side against Vancouver. Dynamo manager Paulo Nagamura has been experimenting a lot with his front line recently and it doesn't seem like he has settled on a preferred XI yet, so expect Quintero, along with Sebastian Ferreira and Memo Rodriguez to continue rotating in and out of the lineup.

Thorleifur Ulfarsson - Takes two shots in loss Ulfarsson took two shots (one on target) and created a chance in Friday's 2-1 defeat against the Whitecaps.
Impact Ulfarsson switched over to the right wing Friday and continued as an active attacking outlet against Vancouver. He has started in 11 of Houston's last 14 MLS matches dating back to mid-May, playing all across the front line.

Steve Clark - Concedes two goals in loss Clark made two saves but conceded two goals in Friday's 2-1 defeat against the Whitecaps.
Impact Clark and his side managed to turn a 1-0 lead with three minutes left in Saturday's game into a 2-0 loss thanks to late strikes from Simon Becher and Lucas Cavallini. The result looks even worse coming off the back of last weekend's 6-0 blowout defeat against the Union, though in his defense, Clark missed most of that match due to injury. It won't get any easier next weekend against CF Montreal, which have scored 38 goals in 23 matches this season.

Sam Junqua - Records assist against Vancouver Junqua assisted a goal and won two of two tackles in Friday's 2-1 defeat against the Whitecaps. He also made nine clearances and two interceptions in the match.
Impact Junqua was solid on both sides of the ball Friday in what was just his second start of the season. Adam Lundqvist remains the Dynamo's preferred option at left-back, though he was not in the match day squad against Vancouver.
