Kenji Cabrera - Assists off bench in win Cabrera assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 4-1 win over Portland Timbers.
Impact Cabrera came off the bench but still made his presence felt, as he set up Brian White's second goal -- and Vancouver's fourth overall -- with an excellent through ball. Cabrera seems like the backup at the left wing role behind Aziel Jackson, so until that changes, his upside in most fantasy formats will remain limited.

Yohei Takaoka - Concedes once in win Takaoka had one save and allowed one goal in Saturday's 4-1 win versus Portland Timbers.
Impact Takaoka couldn't do much on the goal scored by Eric Izoita, but the star goalkeeper was excellent the rest of the way. The Japanese goalkeeper has two clean sheets and just one goal allowed, while adding five saves, in three starts so far.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Aziel Jackson - Assists in win over Portland Jackson assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 4-1 win over Portland Timbers.
Impact Jackson has started in every game so far for Vancouver, and he's already making his presence felt. He assisted on the team's third goal with a perfect low cross, and in three starts, he's racked up three shots, two chances created and four crosses, as well as adding a goal and an assist.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Brian White - Scores twice vs. Portland White scored two goals to go with two shots (two on goal) in Saturday's 4-1 victory versus Portland Timbers.
Impact White broke the deadlock midway through the first half with an absolute poacher's finish from close range, and he doubled his tally in the second half to score Vancouver's fourth goal. If he stays healthy, White could be one of the top forwards in the league, as he's an integral part of one of the best attacks and has the potential to easily record 15 to 20 goals. White has three goals in three starts to open the 2026 season.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Tristan Blackmon - Scores in win over Timbers Blackmon scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 4-1 victory against Portland Timbers.
Impact Blackmon scored one of the luckiest goals you'll see all season -- his finish bounced off the post and later off his own face to give Vancouver a 2-0 lead. The defender is more known for his contributions on the defensive end, but Blackmon can be a defender with more upside due to his regular involvement in set-piece situations.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Sebastian Berhalter - Scores, assists in win Berhalter scored one goal and assisted once from two shots and two chances created in Saturday's 4-1 victory against Portland Timbers.
Impact Berhalter assisted in the first goal with a clever touch to set Brian White up, and he could've had a second assist since the midfielder executed the free kick that led to Tristan Blackmon's goal. Berhalter closed out his impressive outing with a goal, slotting the ball home following a low cross from Aziel Jackson. Berhalter has thrived as a playmaker so far this season and should continue to have a key role as a versatile box-to-box midfielder for the Caps.

Kenji Cabrera - On bench Saturday Cabrera (undisclosed) is available as a substitute option in Saturday's game versus Portland Timbers.
Impact Cabrera may see limited minutes on the field following his recovery from a minor problem he picked up in CONCACAF Champions Cup activity. He's not very reliable without guaranteed involvement, but there could eventually be an opportunity for him to replace either Aziel Jackson or Jeevan Singh Badwal on the wings.

Cheikh Sabaly - Building up fitness Sabaly is still not an option for the club as he builds fitness, according to the MLS injury report.
Impact Sabaly had just arrived at the club this week after his transfer to the United States, and is only a week through training, the reason he hasn't yet joined the team. That said, only another week of building up some fitness and integrating into the team is likely needed, set to be a big signing from overseas for the club.

Sam Adekugbe - Completes partial practice Adekugbe (Achilles) was able to get involved in part of the training session Tuesday, Har Journalist of Equalizer Soccer reports.
Impact Adekugbe has increased his workload since suffering a severe blow in June, but he's yet to make an appearance and could remain sidelined for a few more weeks before rejoining the match squad. Still, the Canadian international may have a chance to feature in upcoming MLS action, offering an option in the competition with Tate Johnson at left-back.

Ranko Veselinovic - Present in partial training Veselinovic (knee) is working individually as he nears his recovery from an ACL tear, according to Har Journalist of Equalizer Soccer.
Impact Veselinovic will likely continue to make a gradual return to normal training and may be ready for game action later in the campaign. However, having failed to play since July 19, he could need more time to readapt while hoping to avoid a physical setback. Meanwhile, Tristan Blackmon, Mathias Laborda and possibly Sebastian Schonlau (calf) will be options in the middle of the back line.
MARCH 3 • ROTOWIRE
Belal Halbouni - Not in full training Halbouni (knee) is still working on light training drills while he continues to progress in his recovery, Har Journalist of Equalizer Soccer reports.
Impact Halbouni remains unlikely to earn a big role, with the injury keeping him from playing since November. He was a regular starter at some point in the second half of the previous campaign, and his eventual return would add an alternative to Tristan Blackmon as the right-sided center-back.
MARCH 3 • ROTOWIRE
Sebastian Schonlau - Light work Tuesday Schonlau (calf) has taken part in limited training ahead of Saturday's visit to Portland Timbers, Har Journalist of Equalizer Soccer reports.
Impact Schonlau has yet to play a single minute in the 2026 season despite being on the bench in the opening week following his recovery from a serious Achilles issue. The defender may not be ready to start in the short term and will continue to work towards returning in March, eventually challenging Mathias Laborda and Tristan Blackmon for playing time.
MARCH 3 • ROTOWIRE
Emmanuel Sabbi - Back from suspension Sabbi has served his one match suspension and will be an option for the trip to Portland on Saturday.
Impact Sabbi was handed a suspension by the league following his foul against Salt Lake during the opener. He is expected to return to the starting XI for Vancouver, having started the first match, recording three assists (two shots on target) and two crosses in 68 minutes of play.

Sebastian Berhalter - Strong in service Berhalter recorded one shot (zero on goal), eight crosses (four accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 3-0 win versus Toronto FC.
Impact Berhalter did his job with eight crosses and four corners, but was unlucky when it came to logging an assist. If he keeps this approach up against a Portland Timbers defense which has let in goals routinely, he's likely to have another robust stat line featuring an assist or two.
FEBRUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Mathias Laborda - Logs assist Laborda assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-0 win versus Toronto FC.
Impact Laborda only created one chance and didn't provide a ton of service but was credited with an assist. The defender will likely have a chance to be involved in the attack again next week against Portland Timbers. Though Portland has scored three goals in two games, it has already allowed four and had a minus-7 goal differential a year ago.
FEBRUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Brian White - Scores in win White scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Toronto FC.
Impact White added what is usually deemed as the back-breaking goal in soccer, putting Vancouver up 3-0. The forward can build on this performance against a Portland Timbers squad which struggles to defend. Portland has already given up four goals this season and conceded 48 goals in 34 games a year ago.
FEBRUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Thomas Muller - Tallies brace Muller scored two goals to go with three shots (two on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-0 win over Toronto FC.
Impact One of the German legend's goals came from the penalty spot, but this was an impactful performance after managing just one shot in the season opener. Muller has a good matchup looming against Portland Timbers, who have already conceded four goals in two matches and gave up 48 goals in 34 MLS games a season ago.
