Jon Kempin - Blown away in loss Kempin made no saves during Saturday's 3-0 loss to Columbus.
Impact Kempin has fallen back to earth. The keeper faced three shots, stopped none of them, and looked like a non-factor in Saturday's loss. Next up is a clash with Houston where Kempin will need to improve or Rafael Romo may move into the starting role. Bill Hamid was ruled out for several weeks with a hamstring injury meaning Kempin and Romo are competing for the top spot on the goalkeeping depth chart in D.C.

Ola Kamara - Shut down in loss Kamara shot once, off target, during Saturday's 3-0 loss to Columbus.
Impact Kamara was entirely shut down by Columbus during Saturday's loss, managing only a single poor shot. The forward has scored four times in seven appearances, an inarguably good return, though he has been wildly inconsistent. Kamara will hope to start finding some consistent goal-scoring form against Houston next time out.

Brad Smith - Seven crosses Saturday Smith sent in seven crosses (two accurate), creating three chances during Saturday's 3-0 loss to Columbus.
Impact Smith sent in seven crosses, the second highest tally of the season for the wing-back. The wide midfielder has been a consistent fantasy producer as far as volume goes, but has yet to get on the scoresheet for D.C. Smith will hope to break that barrier against Houston on Saturday.

Julian Gressel - Busy in loss Gressel shot three times (once on goal) and created three chances during Saturday's 3-0 loss to Columbus.
Impact Gressel shot three times and is one of the top options in MLS as he continues to fill the stat sheet. The midfielder has created a chance in all but one match and has sent in 64 crosses through the first eight matches. Gressel will look to keep this absolutely dominant form on the right side of midfield going against Houston on Saturday.
