Impact Sabitzer has come off the bench in his first two appearances since joining Bayern as he works his way back from a groin issue. There's enough competition for places that he'll seldom be guaranteed a starting spot, but it's likely that Sabitzer will get a chance or two once he's able to play more than a few minutes each game.

Even once cleared to play, Sabitzer is far from a lock for the starting XI, though the upcoming Champions League clash with Barcelona on Tuesday could see coach Julian Nagelsmann stretching the depth of the club.

Impact Sabitzer had yet to feature in the starting XI for RB Leipzig this season, instead coming off the bench in the first two games before picking up his groin injury. Considering Bayern still moved forward with the transfer, Sabitzer's groin problem shouldn't be expected to sideline him long term. The midfielder may not be able to break into the starting XI any easier for Bayern Munich but will no doubt have plenty of opportunities given the club's busy schedule including the DFL-Pokal and Champions League.
