GAME LOG

Bench option against Espanyol Navas (thigh) is available off the bench for Saturday's match versus Espanyol.
Impact Navas is available for a La Liga game for the first time since early November after seeing a handful of minutes in Europa League midweek. He could make an appearance in the second half. He has tallied 21 crosses, four chances, four interceptions and four clearances in four matches so far.
FEBRUARY 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Left out Friday Navas (thigh) will miss out against Elche on Friday.
Impact Navas has been training with the first team but will be on the shelf for his 15th consecutive contest due to his thigh problem. Given his extended layoff, the defender should probably be expected to start out in a reserve role off the bench before immediately rejoining the starting XI. Still, once back on the pitch, Navas should provide top-half fantasy value given his ability to rack up crosses.
FEBRUARY 11, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Spotted in training Navas (thigh) was shown in training during Wednesday's training session.
Impact Navas was spotted in training, participating in drills with the rest of the first team. The wing-back will hope to return to the starting XI in the near future. He has been sidelined since an injury picked up in early November. Navas will likely be eased back into playing time, not wanting to risk re-aggravating the thigh injury.
FEBRUARY 2, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Picks up thigh injury Navas (thigh) will be out eight weeks after picking up a thigh injury during Tuesday's clash with Lille, Sevilla announced Thursday.
Impact Navas will be out for around two months with a thigh injury picked up Tuesday. The defender is a crucial part of the starting XI, and it will be tough to fill his shoes. Karim Rekik will likely slot into the back line, though it's unclear if the positions will shift around.
NOVEMBER 4, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Sends four crosses in 2-1 loss Navas had one chance created, four crosses (none accurate) and one interception in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Lille.
Impact Navas was far from his best here and barely produced any numbers. The full-back though has been in a stellar form of late racking up one assist, two clean sheets, three shots, 11 chances created and 21 crosses over his previous four starts.
NOVEMBER 3, 2021 • ROTOWIRE

OCTOBER 22, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Sends in four crosses Navas sent in four crosses (none accurate), creating one chance during Sunday's 1-0 win over Celta Vigo.
Impact Navas did send in four crosses from right-back, but none of them were accurate and he only created a single chance in the start. The right-back only has a single assist on the season, and is seemingly becoming more passive as he gets up there in age. He will be tested Wednesday, against Lille in the Champions League.
OCTOBER 17, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Fails to convert volume Navas sent in eight inaccurate crosses during Wednesday's one-all draw with Wolfsburg.
Impact Navas had plenty of chances, bombing forward down the right-flank and sending in crosses with nearly every possession, and yet he failed to create a chance. It was a frustrating performance from the defender who has struggled to put his name on the score sheet all year. Navas will hope to get back in the goals away to Granada on Sunday.

Finally tallies assist Navas provided one assist on three chances created during Saturday's 2-0 win over Espanyol.
Impact Navas has created 13 chances this season and somehow had yet to earn an assist. That finally changed Saturday as the midfielder did well to get on the scoresheet for the first time. Next up for Navas is a mid-week trip to Wolfsburg in the Champions League.

Impact Navas led the team in crosses for Tuesday's UCL matchup but still trails teammate Marcos Acuna for the team high in domestic competition. While Navas should continue to rack up crosses heading into the rest of the 2021-22 campaign, his lack of corner-taking duties will prevent him from being a top-end fantasy target.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Creates five chances in 1-1 draw Navas created five chances, sent seven crosses (three accurate) and intercepted twice in the 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Impact Navas continued to be dominant on the flank for Sevilla. The defender has not done much yet outside of his plethora of crosses and created chances this season. However, he is doing both at elite clips right now. In his three appearances so far this season Navas is averaging, 2.66 created chances, 6.0 crosses and 0.66 interceptions per 90 minutes in all competitions. Aforementioned, he has not produced outside of those areas, but he is at least producing at high levels where he can.
AUGUST 29, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Logs four crosses in win Navas logged four inaccurate crosses and kept the clean sheet during Monday's 1-0 win over Getafe.
Impact Navas didn't have much to do and didn't do much with what he had to do in a game more full of energy than efficiency. This isn't likely to always be the case, though Navas also has competition from Marcos Acuna on the other flank for production among his team's attacking full backs. Up next is a trip to Elche.
AUGUST 24, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Seven crosses in opener Navas sent in seven crosses (three accurate) during Sunday's 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano.
Impact Navas opened the season with plenty of volume, peppering the box with seven crosses. Navas put together six assists last season, and if he can continue this volume he could easily surpass that total. He travels to Getafe on Monday, a match that should be favorable once more.
