Continuing rehab Wolf (shoulder) is continuing rehab on his long-term shoulder injury, Gladbach reported.

Impact Wolf continues to target a return immediately after the World Cup break, and is making his recovery from shoulder surgery. The midfielder is more of a depth option even when fully fit, but with the plethora of issues Gladbach have had, it's possible he could see playing time quickly after returning to the first team.

Out until 2023 Wolf (shoulder) will be out and will undergo shoulder surgery, manager Daniel Farke told Rheinische Post.

Impact Wolf will undergo shoulder surgery after partially tearing cartilage that stabilizes the shoulder. The midfielder had been mostly used in a rotational role before the injury though his absence could cause a serious lack of depth both in midfield and defense until after the World Cup break.

It will be good to see him get regular minutes for Gladbach after playing in 32 games during the 2020/21 season but spending 2022 on loan at Swansea City.
