Summoned for Gold Cup Vazquez has been called up to the USMNT for the upcoming Gold Cup from June 24-July 16, meaning he will miss Cincinnati's next four MLS games at least.

Impact Vazquez hasn't been as prolific this season as he was in 2022 as he's netted just four goals in 17 league appearances (16 starts) up front, but he's still very important to the Cincinnati attack especially with Brenner leaving the club and will be missed while he's at the Gold Cup. Dominique Badji and Arquimides Ordonez should take over as the front-two at least until Sergio Santos (hamstring) recovers from injury and new signing Aaron Boupendza becomes eligible to play on July 5.
