Brought on at halftime to re-vitalize a Villa team without a win this season, he did just that, assisting John McGinn and scoring himself to give the side a second and third goal respectively. Buendia has added to both sides of the coin for his G/A, and the hope for him is that he can regularly do so despite a role uncertainty.

It took six games, but finally Rogers is on the board for the 2025-26 Premier League's goal contributions. He assisted Emiliano Buendia, so the former ideally gets his ongoing season in motion moving forward.
