Connor Hellebuyck - Scheduled to face Isles Hellebuyck is expected to be between the home pipes against the Islanders on Tuesday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Impact Following a 10-game stretch in which he went 0-6-4, Hellebuyck finally got back into the win column Sunday against New Jersey, stopping 24 of 27 shots in a 4-3 victory. As for Tuesday's adversary, the Islanders are 3-0-1 and have scored 18 goals over their last four games, though nine of those markers came in a shutout win over the Devils on Jan. 6. Hellebuyck hasn't fared that well against the Isles in his career, going 5-7-0 with a 3.20 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 12 outings.

Impact In a corresponding move, Winnipeg recalled Isaak Phillips from AHL Manitoba. Miller will miss at least the three games, starting with Tuesday's matchup against the Islanders, after getting hurt in Sunday's 4-3 win over New Jersey. However, it's unclear when he will be ready to return. He has chipped in one assist, 16 shots on goal, 10 blocked shots and 25 hits across 15 appearances this season.

Impact Phillips' promotion comes as Colin Miller (lower body) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move. The 24-year-old Phillips played in three NHL games with the Blackhawks last year but would be making his 2025-26 debut if he gets into Tuesday's clash with the Islanders.

Jonathan Toews - Scores again Sunday Toews scored a goal and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

Impact This was Toews' second game in a row with a goal, and he's gotten on the scoresheet in six of the Jets' last nine contests. That's been enough for him to regain a second-line role after a dip into the bottom six. Toews is at five goals, 15 points, 60 shots on net, 23 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-11 rating through 44 appearances this season.

Alex Iafallo - Tickles twine in win Iafallo scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

Impact Iafallo has two goals and an assist over six contests in January. He was listed on the top line Sunday, earning 17:47 of ice time, but his goal came just after a Jets power play expired, so he wasn't with his regular linemates. The 32-year-old forward is up to eight goals, 16 points, 61 shots on net, 61 hits, 31 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 44 outings this season.

Impact Pearson's goal at 6:17 of the third period held up as the game-winner. The 33-year-old has two goals and an assist over his last three games after going 10 contests with just a single helper from Dec. 6 to Jan. 6. The winger is now at six goals, three assists, 34 shots on net, 49 hits, 21 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 38 appearances in a bottom-six role.

Gabriel Vilardi - Tallies in Sunday's win Vilardi scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Devils.

Impact Vilardi has two goals and five assists over six games in January. His tally Sunday tied the contest at 3-3 late in the second period. The 26-year-old remains a steady scorer in the top six, earning 18 goals, 40 points, 90 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 44 appearances this season. The Jets have gotten out of their funk with back-to-back wins, so Vilardi should be able to continue contributing strong offense as the team aims for better results.

Impact With the Jets down 3-2 late in the second period, Morrissey got to work.
