Neal Pionk - Placed on injured reserve Pionk (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, retroactive to Jan. 13.

Impact Head coach Scott Arniel labeled Pionk as week-to-week earlier Wednesday, so the defenseman's placement on injured reserve isn't particularly surprising. The exact nature of his injury isn't yet clear, and whether he'll be able to return to game action before the Olympic break in February remains to be seen.

Elias Salomonsson - Called up from AHL Salomonsson was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Wednesday, per Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site.

Impact After Neal Pionk, Haydn Fleury and Colin Miller were all deemed week-to-week Wednesday, Salomonsson was brought up to fill the defensive void in Winnipeg's lineup. Through 25 games with Manitoba this season, the 21-year-old blueliner has a goal, seven assists and 37 shots on net. The call-up gives Salomonsson another chance to record the first NHL point of his career after failing to do so across four games earlier this season.

Morgan Barron - Game-time call versus Wild According to head coach Scott Arniel, Barron (upper body) "could be a player" for Thursday's clash with Minnesota, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Impact Barron has missed the Jets' last three outings due to his upper-body issue, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. Prior to getting hurt, the 27-year-old winger was mired in a seven-game goal drought during which he generated two helpers, 14 shots and 16 hits.

Colin Miller - Is week-to-week Miller (lower body) is considered week-to-week, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Wednesday.

Impact Miller has an assist in 15 appearances in 2025-26. He was placed on injured reserve Monday because of the injury. Isaak Phillips was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Monday in a move that corresponded with Miller going on IR.

Impact Pionk missed Friday's clash with the Kings due to a foot injury, but played in the last two games, so it's not immediately clear if this is related. The blueliner is currently stuck in a 12-game goal drought dating back to Dec. 15 versus the Senators. During his slump, Pionk managed just two assists and could be in danger of missing the 30-point threshold for the first time since 2018-19, especially if he misses significant time due to his undisclosed injury.

Impact Fleury has spent the past week on injured reserve, and he doesn't appear to be particularly close to returning to game action. He was taken off the ice on a stretcher during last week's game against the Golden Knights and subsequently hospitalized, but he was released from the hospital and returned to team meetings a day later. It's not yet clear whether Fleury will be in the mix to suit up for games before the Olympic break in February.

Neal Pionk - Nabs helper in win Pionk notched an assist, two hits and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

Impact Pionk set up Adam Lowry late in the second period for what stood as the game-winning goal. The 30-year-old Pionk has two helpers over six outings in January, which makes it already a more productive month than December (one goal in 13 games). The defenseman is at eight points, 76 shots on net, 84 hits, 64 blocked shots, 19 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 40 appearances in what's likely to be the worst full-length season of his career.

Mark Scheifele - Earns 500th career assist Scheifele logged two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

Impact Scheifele's second helper of the game was the 500th of his career, a milestone he reached in 924 regular-season outings. The center has been a boom-or-bust player lately, earning six multi-point efforts and five scoreless outings over his last 11 games. He's up to a total of 54 points (22 goals, 32 helpers), 97 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 45 appearances.

Impact Morrissey's strong start to January continues -- he has two goals and five assists over seven contests so far this month. His tally put the Jets ahead 2-0 in the second period. Morrissey is at eight goals, 37 points, 80 shots on net, 80 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-12 rating over 45 appearances. He's on pace to top the 60-point mark for a fourth consecutive season, and he could flirt with 70 if he stays consistent.

Adam Lowry - One of each in win Lowry scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

Impact Lowry ended a three-game dry spell with the effort, which included the game-winning goal at 19:40 of the second period. The 32-year-old center took some time to get up to speed after missing the first few weeks of the campaign while recovering from hip surgery. He's earned 11 points in 33 outings so far, with six of those points coming over the last nine contests. Lowry has added 34 shots on net, 68 hits, 25 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a plus-3 rating while mainly featuring on the third line.

Impact Connor saw a five-game point streak snapped Sunday versus the Devils. He bounced right back, earning his third multi-point effort in his last six outings. The 29-year-old winger is up to 22 goals, 54 points, 138 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 45 appearances. Connor remains among the best scoring-only wingers in fantasy, even as the Jets have experienced a down year as a team.

Connor Hellebuyck - Gets away with poor outing Hellebuyck allowed four goals on 27 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Islanders.

Impact Hellebuyck was able to get away with less than his best this time. He gave up three of the goals in a span of 2:41 during the second period, but the Jets responded to that sequence with two goals of their own, which was enough to win. This was Hellebuyck's second win in a row, but he's allowed three-plus goals in eight of his last 10 outings. He's at an 11-12-4 record with a 2.75 GAA and an .899 save percentage through 27 starts this season. The Jets' next game is on the road in Minnesota on Thursday.
