Impact Milano has missed the last 27 games due to an upper-body injury, but it appears his absence may finally be coming to an end. The 27-year-old winger has picked up just eight points while averaging 12:12 of ice time through 23 contests this campaign, so don't expect him to be a useful fantasy option upon his return.

Impact Ovechkin cut the Caps' deficit to 4-3 midway through the third period, beating Alexandar Georgiev with his signature slapshot on the power play. The 38-year-old Ovechkin now has goals in six straight games and points in his last seven contests, totaling six goals and three assists in that span. Impact Aube-Kubel was scratched Thursday versus the Panthers, but he's played in the Capitals' last two games, leaving Matthew Phillips as a scratch once again. While the job security isn't strong, Aube-Kubel adds a physical element to the Capitals' fourth line, so he should be in the lineup most of the time. The 27-year-old winger has a modest 14 points with 67 hits, 38 shots on net, 23 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 38 contests this season.

Impact Sandin's offense is starting to come around -- he has two goals and two assists over his last five games. The 23-year-old defenseman helped out on Nic Dowd's tally in the first period. Sandin has 15 points, 55 shots on net, 73 blocked shots, 44 hits and a minus-10 rating over 43 contests this season. He's still in a top-four role with power-play time, but Sandin will play second fiddle on the blue line as long as John Carlson is in the Capitals' lineup.
