Karel Vejmelka - Beaten twice Monday Vejmelka stopped 27 of 29 shots in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Lightning.

Impact Vejmelka saw the end of his eighth-game winning streak Monday, but he wasn't bad by any means -- he just didn't have enough support from the offense in a 2-0 loss. Despite the loss, Vejmelka has been playing well over the last few weeks and has posted a save percentage of at least .900 in eight of his last 11 contests, a stretch in which he's gone 9-2-0 with a 2.18 GAA and a .918 save percentage on 292 shots faced.

Impact Durzi went to the locker room after taking a hit into the boards in the final minutes of the third period, per Cole Bagley of KSL Sports. Since head coach Andre Tourigny didn't have any information to relay about Durzi's status, the right-shot blueliner should be considered questionable for the second half of the Mammoth's back-to-back against the Panthers on Tuesday.

Karel Vejmelka - Drawing start in Tampa Bay Vejmelka will occupy the road crease against the Lightning on Monday.

Impact Vejmelka is currently in peak form -- he's won eight games in a row while posting a 1.99 GAA and a .924 save percentage during that time. It'll be a tough matchup for the 29-year-old against one of the NHL's best teams, as Vejmelka has already been defeated by the Lightning this season, allowing three goals on 25 shots in a 4-2 home loss Nov. 2. Tampa Bay also ranks second in the league with 3.48 goals per game in 2025-26.

Impact Maatta returned from an upper-body injury Dec. 12 versus the Kraken and played in three straight games. Since then, he's been sat in favor of Nick DeSimone.
