Impact There was no update on Desnoyers' status after the game. The 19-year-old forward's injury will be at least a mild concern until Canada or the Mammoth can produce a status update. Desnoyers is likely a long shot to make Utah's Opening Night roster, but he signed his entry-level deal back in March.

Impact Psenicka spent the bulk of 2025-26 playing in the WHL with the Portland Winterhawks, logging eight goals and 22 assists in 53 regular-season contests. John Marino - Staying in Utah Marino signed an eight-year, $54 million contract extension with the Mammoth on Tuesday, per PuckPedia.
Impact Marino's new deal will begin in 2027-28. The 2015 sixth-round pick set new career highs in 2025-26 with 32 assists, 36 points and a plus-42 rating over 80 regular-season games. While he's certainly more of a shutdown defenseman, if Marino can even somewhat replicate his production from last season, he will be a solid depth option for fantasy managers in deeper formats. However, his lack of all-around contributions cap his ceiling in smaller leagues.

Impact Hayton had previously agreed to an offer sheet with the Devils, but the Mammoth agreed to match the deal to retain the forward's services. In 67 regular-season games last year, the Ontario native notched 10 goals and 15 assists, including six power-play points. If Hayton can stay healthy, he should be capable of getting back to being a 20-goal, 40-point producer for Utah in 2026-27.
