Impact Joey Daccord started Seattle's first three games of the season, but it appears as though he'll get the night off Thursday after the Kraken's last two matchups went to overtime. Grubauer made 26 regular-season appearances for Seattle last year, going 8-17-1 with a 3.49 GAA and .875 save percentage.

Impact Lindgren has opened the season in a top-four role to begin his time with the Kraken. He has a helper, one shot on net, two hits and nine blocked shots. The 27-year-old shutdown defender should play regularly throughout the year, but his role is likely to shrink once Ryker Evans (upper body) is ready to return from injured reserve.

Jamie Oleksiak - Deposits first goal Oleksiak scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Impact Oleksiak doesn't get involved much on offense, though he can put up points in small bursts. The 32-year-old blueliner has a goal, five shots on net, four hits, seven blocked shots and four PIM through three contests so far. He plays a physical game and could have appeal in banger leagues.

Impact Mahura has gotten a chance to play regularly while Ryker Evans (upper body) is sidelined to start the season. Over three outings, Mahura has a helper, four shots on net, six hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. He'll feature in a third-pairing role as long as he stays in the lineup.

Impact Kartye has started 2025-26 in a fourth-line role with an average of 12:56 of ice time per game. His helper Tuesday was his first point in three outings, but he's also racked up 15 hits to provide a heavy physical presence. He may not be in the lineup all the time, especially if the Kraken choose to give Berkly Catton his NHL debut soon, though Jani Nyman could also be at risk of a healthy scratch.

Frederick Gaudreau - Records assist in overtime loss Gaudreau notched an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Impact The helper was Gaudreau's first point in three games with the Kraken. The 32-year-old center, acquired via trade from the Wild in June, has occupied a fourth-line role on paper while averaging 14:29 of ice time so far. He's reached the 30-point mark in three of the last four seasons and could ultimately function in a similar shutdown role like how the Kraken deployed Yanni Gourde in previous years.

Impact Nyman tied the game at 2-2 late in the second period. A strong training camp enabled the 21-year-old winger to make the Kraken's roster, and he's holding onto a fourth-line spot to begin the season. He's added one shot on net, five hits, one blocked shot and a plus-1 rating while failing to reach 10 minutes of ice time in any of his three appearances. Nyman's got potential as a power winger, but it will be a while before that happens.

Jaden Schwartz - Strikes on power play Schwartz scored a power-play goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Impact Through three games, Schwartz has a goal, an assist, two shots on net, seven hits and two blocked shots. The 33-year-old winger has resumed his usual role on the second line while featuring on the second power-play unit. Schwartz has 20-plus-goal potential when he can stay relatively healthy, but his 81 appearances last season marked just the second time in his career he's gotten over the 80-game mark. He's missed at least 10 games in three of his four years with the Kraken.

Impact Both points came in the third period as the Kraken grabbed a 4-3 lead, only for the Habs to surge back. McCann has had a fast start to the season while skating on the top line and top power-play unit, putting together a three-game point streak with three goals and a helper.

Impact It was a tough night for the 29-year-old netminder, who had little chance on the first three pucks that beat him, Daccord went down too soon on Ivan Demidov's tying goal late in regulation however, and then left a gap at the near post that Cole Caufield found with a sharp-angle shot in OT. Even with the Karken carrying three goalies on their initial roster, Daccord has started all three of the team's games so far in 2025-26, going 2-0-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .918 save percentage.
