Joey Daccord - Tending twine Thursday Daccord will defend the visiting crease in Nashville on Thursday, Roots Sports broadcaster Piper Shaw reports.

Impact Daccord has won both his starts for the Kraken this season and will make his second straight start, this time against the injury-depleted Predators. Daccord has given up four goals in each contest and will face Nashville, who have averaged 2.81 goals per game, 26th best in the NHL.

Vince Dunn - Bounces back after end of streak Dunn notched an assist, four shots on goal and four blocked shots in Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Predators.

Impact Dunn's 12-game point streak ended Tuesday in Dallas, but he wasn't quiet for long. He had the secondary helper on a Daniel Sprong tally in the first period of Thursday's low-scoring contest. Dunn is up to 13 goals, 45 helpers, 129 shots on net, 104 hits, 73 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating through 71 outings. He's got a good chance to reach the 60-point mark in his breakout campaign.

Morgan Geekie - Produces assist in shootout loss Geekie notched an assist and blocked three shots in Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Predators.

Impact Geekie sent a long pass up to Daniel Sprong for the opening goal just 2:28 into the game. Juuse Saros was locked in after that, giving the Kraken's offense nothing else. Geekie has a helper in three straight games, and he's up to a career-high 23 points with 59 shots on net, 51 hits, 29 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 59 outings overall.

Joey Daccord - Doesn't get win out of strong start Daccord turned aside 23 of 24 shots through overtime in a 2-1 shootout loss to Nashville on Thursday.

Impact Daccord won his first two NHL starts of the season despite allowing four goals in each of those contests. This was his third appearance with Seattle in 2022-23, and he ended up with the loss while holding the Predators to nothing more than a marker from Kiefer Sherwood prior to the shootout. Sometimes hockey has a sense of humor. Philipp Grubauer (illness) has missed the last two games, but when he's ready to return, Daccord might be reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley.

Daniel Sprong - Nets goal vs. Predators Sprong scored a goal in Seattle's 2-1 shootout loss to Nashville on Thursday.

Impact Sprong found the back of the net early in the first period, but that was all Seattle's skaters could muster against the Predators. The 26-year-old was scratched for two straight games from March 16-18, but he's returned with a vengeance, providing two goals and three points since drawing back into the lineup. He's set career highs this season with 18 goals and 38 points through 55 appearances. Those offensive numbers become pretty impressive when you consider that he entered Thursday's action averaging just 11:05 of ice time in 2022-23.
