J.R. Avon - Tallies twice Wednesday Avon scored two goals in AHL Coachella Valley's 3-0 win over Ontario in Game 1 on Wednesday.
Impact Avon put up 24 points over 45 regular-season appearances, his best output in three AHL campaigns. He's already at three goals and an assist over four playoff contests. The 22-year-old doesn't seem to be close to a potential NHL debut given his offensive output, and if it happens in the coming years, he projects as more of a defensive forward.

Impact Kokko went 19-10-2 with a 3.13 GAA and a .901 save percentage over 35 regular-season games. He's allowed 12 goals over four playoff outings, but he's come away with three wins after shutting out the Reign in the first round of the Pacific Division semifinals. Impact Fisker Molgaard has five points over three playoff contests, powering the Firebirds' offense as they advance to the next round of the postseason. They'll have a tough task against top-seeded Ontario. Fisker Molgaard will get a taste of pressure throughout this postseason run, which should help him prepare for challenging for an NHL job in 2026-27.
APRIL 27 • ROTOWIRE
Jani Nyman - Logs three points Sunday Nyman scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-2 win over Bakersfield in Game 3 on Sunday.
Impact Nyman's big game helped the Firebirds get to the next round of the playoffs. The winger has earned four points over three playoff outings this season, after posting 33 points in 39 regular-season games in the AHL and another seven points across 28 NHL outings. Nyman's strong shot and a bit of physicality could make him an intriguing option for middle-six minutes if he can stick in the NHL throughout 2026-27, though he still has to prove he can score with the Kraken.
APRIL 27 • ROTOWIRE
Julius Miettinen - Picks up three helpers Miettinen registered three assists in WHL Everett's 5-4 double-overtime win over Penticton in Game 2 on Saturday.
Impact Miettinen is up to eight goals and seven assists over 11 playoff contests. The Kraken prospect racked up 76 points and a plus-60 rating in 52 regular-season contests. He's gone three games without a goal, but Miettinen can both score and set up teammates at the junior level.

Impact Fisker Molgaard had the Firebirds' last two goals of the game, keeping their season alive for one more day, at least. He had 34 points over 49 regular-season appearances in the AHL, and he added two assists in 13 NHL contests with the Kraken. The Danish forward still has a bit to prove in the AHL, but he may see more time in the NHL in 2026-27.

Gustav Olofsson - Gathers trio of helpers Olofsson notched three assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-4 win over San Diego on Saturday.
Impact Olofsson has 32 points over 48 appearances this season, his best year in the AHL to date. That helped him earn an NHL deal in March, though he didn't get a call-up to Seattle after signing. He'll likely be in the market for another two-way contract at best this offseason.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Ty Nelson - Racks up four points in AHL win Nelson scored a goal and added three assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-4 win over San Diego on Saturday.
Impact With the effort, Nelson has a career-high 35 points over 63 appearances this season in his second AHL campaign. He had gone five contests without a point prior to Saturday. Nelson is still waiting for a chance to make his NHL debut, but he could get a look if the Kraken don't add to their defense in the offseason.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Melanson has seen action in just 28 AHL games this season, but he's still managed a career-best nine goals and 19 points. The forward also had five points over 36 NHL contests for the Kraken. Melanson will likely get a chance to compete for a full-time job in Seattle during training camp.

Impact McCann missed the final three games of the regular season due to the injury, and he completed 2025-26 with 20 goals and 40 points in 52 outings. The 29-year-old expects to be available for the start of the 2026-27 campaign.

Impact Ostman stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 2-0 loss to Colorado in his lone NHL appearance of 2025-26 on Thursday. The Kraken didn't make the playoffs, but Coachella Valley did, so Ostman will get some more work with the minor-league squad. The 25-year-old netminder had a 2.77 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 35 regular-season outings with Coachella Valley in 2025-26.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Nikke Kokko - Returning to minors Kokko was sent down to AHL Coachella Valley on Friday.
Impact Kokko saw action in three NHL games during his stint with the Kraken, posting a 1-2-0 record and 3.03 GAA. The Finnish netminder put up much better numbers with the Firebirds, going 18-10-2 with a .903 save percentage in 34 minor-league outings. With both Joey Daccord and Philipp Grubauer under contract next year, Kokko figures to be hard-pressed to see significant opportunities in the NHL.

Impact Nyman played in 28 games for the Kraken this year, registering four goals, three assists and 23 hits while averaging 10:34 of ice time. Wedgewood makes 22 saves, Avalanche shut out Kraken | NHL.com Blankenburg, Kelly score for Colorado; Ostman stops 33 in 1st NHL start for Seattle
APRIL 17 • NHL.COM
Victor Ostman - Shows well in first start Ostman stopped 33 of 35 shots in Thursday's 2-0 loss to the Avalanche.
Impact He didn't face the full brunt of Colorado's attack, as the hosts rested a few players. Ostman still faced plenty of pressure, but he put forth a good effort. The Kraken lost because they couldn't solve opposing goalie Scott Wedgewood. With the Kraken's season over, expect Ostman and Niklas Kokko to be reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley in the coming days.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Philipp Grubauer - Likely out again Thursday Grubauer (lower body) is not expected to be available Thursday versus the Avalanche.
Impact Grubauer wasn't named by head coach Lane Lambert in pregame, but the fact that Victor Ostman was indicated to be the starter suggests Grubauer remains out. The 34-year-old Grubauer will finish with a 13-12-4 record, a 2.65 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 32 appearances, his best ratios in five years for the Kraken. He'll be in a contract year in 2026-27. If Grubauer's injury isn't too serious, he could also be a contender to be invited in May to the IIHF World Championship for Germany.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Joey Daccord - Slated to be out Daccord (lower body) is not expected to play Thursday versus the Avalanche.
Impact Head coach Lane Lambert hinted that Victor Ostman would start, and that makes it likely Daccord will not be in uniform since Ostman is up with the big club under emergency conditions. Daccord will end the season at 20-20-6 with a 3.03 GAA and an .896 save percentage, his worst numbers in three years as a starter for the Kraken.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
Victor Ostman - Slated to start finale Ostman will guard the road goal versus the Avalanche on Thursday.
Impact Head coach Lane Lambert didn't specifically name Ostman, but referenced the goalie for the game is making his first appearance. That's true for Ostman, who has spent the bulk of the year in the AHL with Coachella Valley, going 17-14-3 with a 2.77 GAA and a .907 save percentage in 35 games. He came up from the AHL over the weekend to provide depth while Joey Daccord and Philipp Grubauer close out the season on the shelf due to their respective lower-body injuries.
APRIL 17 • ROTOWIRE
