SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Kraken signed their 2024 third-round pick, defenseman Alexis Bernier, on Tuesday to a three-year, entry-level contract with an average annual value of $1.03 million.
The 19-year-old Bernier had ACL surgery last offseason, which limited his availability in 2025-26. He had four goals and eight assists in 21 games for Chicoutimi of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League, and he helped the Saguenéens win their first league title in 32 years.
Bernier was a QMJHL first-team All-Star with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in 2024-25.
