Impact Perreault picked up his first multi-point effort of the season with this performance. Perreault is playing on the first line and also sees power-play time, so he's in a good spot to continue racking up points as he continues to grow as a full-time NHLer.

Impact Lafreniere started a little slow this season, but he's turned things around with a four-game point streak. That span accounts for all of his offense so far (five goals, three assists). The 25-year-old winger has added 14 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-4 rating over seven appearances. Lafreniere's top-six and power-play roles look secure, putting him in a good position to try for a career year in his seventh NHL campaign.

Will Cuylle - Two goals in Sunday's win Cuylle scored twice on three shots and added four hits in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Impact Cuylle earned his first two goals of the season in this contest. The 24-year-old winger is currently in a third-line role, though he could get moved into the top six the next time the Rangers shuffle their lines. He has five points, 18 shots on net, 26 hits, 13 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through seven appearances this season. More ice time would be better, but Cuylle's already providing well-rounded production.

Tye Kartye - Scores twice Sunday Kartye scored two goals on three shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Impact Kartye has received second-line minutes at even strength early this season. His tallies Sunday were his first goals of the season, to go with two helpers over seven games. The 25-year-old is better known for his physical play -- he's racked up 17 hits so far this season. Kartye could be a target for fantasy managers in deep leagues if he remains on the second line, but his career high in points is 22, which came in 64 appearances between the Rangers and the Kraken last year.

Dylan Garand - Secures win over Canucks Garand stopped 19 of 21 shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Canucks.
Impact Garand did well in his first start since Igor Shesterkin (knee) was lost for the year. The quality of the opponent is certainly a factor -- this loss dropped the Canucks to 2-5-0 on the year. Garand will get at least a short-term chance to claim the No. 1 job for the Rangers, though his performance over the next month will go a long way in determining the pecking order in goal when Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) can play. Expect Garand between the pipes again for a much tougher test versus the Lightning on Tuesday.

Igor Shesterkin - Requires surgery Shesterkin will require surgery and a lengthy rehab process to address his season-ending right knee injury, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports Sunday.
Impact Shesterkin was hurt during Friday's game against the Capitals when his right leg got jammed into the post while returning to the crease on a scrambled play, and the Rangers ruled him out for the season a day later. He was placed on injured reserve Sunday, and the team has now provided some clarification on the exact nature of his injury. Dylan Garand is slated to serve as the Rangers' No. 1 option in the crease until Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) is back in action.

Igor Shesterkin - Shifting to LTIR Shesterkin (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve by the Rangers on Sunday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Impact As expected, Shesterkin will move to LTIR less than 24 hours after he was ruled out for the season with a lower-body injury. It's a devastating setback for the 30-year-old netminder and the Rangers' organization, as Shesterkin was dialed in to begin the new season, compiling a 3-1-0 record, a 1.79 GAA and a .927 save percentage across five appearances. He'll set his sights on being healthy for the start of the 2027-28 regular season. In the meantime, Dylan Garand is expected to be the lead option between the pipes until Joonas Korpisalo (lower body) is ready to return.
