Jacob Bryson - Picks up rare assist Bryson notched an assist in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Impact Bryson had been scratched for three games prior to Saturday. He had also gone five contests without a point before his trip to the press box. The 27-year-old's playing-time outlook could improve if the Sabres trade away a blueliner, namely Henri Jokiharju, prior to Friday's deadline. For the season, Bryson has five helpers, 13 shots on net, 38 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 34 appearances in a part-time role.

Jiri Kulich - Scores in Saturday's loss Kulich scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Impact Kulich was limited to one assist over six games in February despite seeing some top-line minutes in that time. He was shuffled down to the third line Saturday, and while he got back on the scoresheet, his rest-of-season potential is fairly limited lower in the lineup. Kulich has established himself well as a rookie with 12 goals, six assists, 96 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 44 appearances this season, but the 20-year-old is still not a candidate to be rostered in all fantasy formats.

Mike Matheson - Snags helper Saturday Matheson provided an assist and four blocked shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
Impact Matheson has four points over his last nine outings while maintaining a top-four role. The 31-year-old blueliner is at 26 points, 108 shots on net, 115 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 48 appearances. Matheson can provide a bit of category coverage, but his offense has taken a hit with a smaller power-play role following the emergence of Lane Hutson as the first-unit quarterback this season.

Christian Dvorak - Contributes two assists Saturday Dvorak notched two assists and four shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
Impact Dvorak had a hand in goals by Josh Anderson and Jake Evans. This was Dvorak's first multi-point effort since Jan. 19 versus the Rangers. The 29-year-old center is up to 20 points, 79 shots on net, 54 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 60 appearances. He continues to fill a third-line role, but he'd have to pick up the pace to get back to the 30-point mark for the first time since 2021-22.

Alex Tuch - Nets goal in loss Tuch tallied a goal, fired two shots on net, and had three hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Impact Tuch's goal was the first of the game for Buffalo and tied the game at one apiece. Overall, the 28-year-old winger is up to 22 goals, 46 points and 139 shots on net in 58 contests this season. Tuch has been a bright spot for Buffalo offensively and is third on the team in points. He is skating in a top-six role offensively and occupies a power-play spot on Buffalo's first unit. With the Sabres falling out of the playoff race, Tuch will likely continue to have a large role in Buffalo for the rest of this season and should continue to see relevance in fantasy.

Lane Hutson - Plates two helpers in win Hutson dished two assists, took two shots on net, and made two blocks during Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.
Impact Hutson provided helpers on Montreal's second and third goals of the night. The 21-year-old blueliner is up to 42 assists, 46 points, 70 shots on net and 85 blocks in 60 appearances this season. With 42 helpers, Hutson ranks fifth among all defensemen in assists and is tied for 20th among all skaters. The former second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft is having a standout rookie season and is competing against San Jose's Macklin Celebrini and Philadelphia's Matvei Michkov as the likely favorites for this year's Calder Trophy. If he can maintain his current form and stay healthy, Hutson is a shoo-in to be a nominee for the award at the end of this season.
