Brandt Clarke - Adds power-play helper Clarke logged a power-play assist in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1.

Impact Clarke hasn't scored a goal since March 2, and he was limited to just two assists over his last 14 games of the regular season. The 23-year-old defenseman will be tasked with key top-four minutes this postseason after seeing limited action with two goals over six games while averaging 12:47 of ice time versus the Oilers in the first round last year. Clarke had a career-high 40 points, including 13 on the power play, over 82 regular-season outings in 2025-26.

Artemi Panarin - Tallies late to break up shutout Panarin scored a power-play goal on two shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1.

Impact Panarin surged down the stretch with 27 points over the last 26 games of the regular season to help the Kings win a battle for a wild-card spot. He totaled 84 points (23 on the power play) and 224 shots on net and a minus-7 rating over 78 outings between the Kings and the Rangers in the regular season. Impact The veteran netminder played well, but Los Angeles' offense couldn't solve Scott Wedgewood until there was less than three minutes left in the third period. Forsberg hasn't allowed more than three goals in an outing in over a month, posting a stellar 1.67 GAA and .940 save percentage over his last nine appearances as he seized the No. 1 job in the Kings' crease from Darcy Kuemper. Anton Forsberg - Earns Game 1 starting nod Forsberg led the Kings out for warmups and will start Game 1 against the Avalanche, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Impact Forsberg spent much of the season as the number two goaltender in Los Angeles, playing in just 36 games on the season, but he will be the guy in goal in Game 1. The 33-year-old earned it with a fantastic month of April, going 5-1-0 with a 1.48 GAA and a .944 save percentage. On the flip side, Darcy Kuemper, the normal starter for the Kings, allowed 19 goals over the final four starts of his regular season. Regardless, Forsberg will have his hands full with the Avalanche, the league's best offense at 3.63 goals per game.
