Impact Danault will miss his third straight game while battling the flu. The 32-year-old center has yet to find the back of the net in 30 games this year, though he has chipped in five assists, 42 shots and 22 hits along the way. With Danault on the shelf, Quinton Byfield and Alex Turcotte will hold down the middle-six center roles.

Impact Forsberg is in line to serve as the Kings' top netminder while Darcy Kuemper (upper body) is on injured reserve. Forsberg has made 10 appearances this year, going 4-3-3 with a 2.82 GAA and .893 save percentage. Pheonix Copley - Elevated from minors Copley was recalled from AHL Ontario on Tuesday.
Impact Copley will serve as the Kings' No. 2 netminder for the foreseeable future, as Darcy Kuemper (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday. Copley has a 7-6-0 record, .885 save percentage and 3.13 GAA across 13 games with the Reign this season. The Alaska native made just one appearance with Los Angeles in 2024-25, conceding two goals on 12 shots in a loss to Toronto.

Impact Kuemper was injured in Monday's clash with Dallas and will now need to miss at least the next three games after the team put him on IR. With the available roster spot, Pheonix Copley was called up from the minors in a corresponding move and figures to serve as the No. 2 option behind Anton Forsberg while Kuemper is on the shelf.

Andrei Kuzmenko - Scores PP goal vs. Dallas Kuzmenko scored a power-play goal in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Stars.
Impact Kuzmenko found the back of the net at the 11:03 mark of the second period to give the Kings a 1-0 lead, but the Stars would turn things around after scoring four unanswered goals the rest of the way. This was Kuzmenko's fifth goal of the season, and it's worth noting that four of those have come on the power play. Through 27 appearances, the 29-year-old winger has nine points (five goals, four assists), so he shouldn't carry a lot of upside even if he plays as a top-six forward.

Impact Forsberg had to enter the game in the second period after Darcy Kuemper exited with an upper-body injury. If Kuemper is forced to miss additional time, Forsberg could see more playing time between the pipes. This wasn't his finest outing, though to be fair, he was facing one of the best teams in the Western Conference. Forsberg owns a 4-3-3 record with a 2.82 GAA and an .893 save percentage in 10 appearances this season.

Darcy Kuemper - Sustains injury in Dallas Kuemper has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game in Dallas due to an upper-body injury.
Impact Kuemper was injured during the opening frame after a collision with Mikko Rantanen at the top of the blue paint. The 35-year-old Kuemper didn't come out for the start of the second period and was replaced between the pipes by Anton Forsberg. If Kuemper is forced to miss any additional time, Pheonix Copley and Erik Portillo will be candidates to be brought up from AHL Ontario. The Kings have a back-to-back set on the road against Florida and Tampa Bay on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

Impact Kuemper has had some unlucky losses recently, as he's gone 3-2-3 with a 1.86 GAA and .934 save percentage over his last eight starts. He started on the road against the Stars on Oct. 23 and turned aside 29 of 31 shots (.935 save percentage) in an overtime win. The Stars are scoring 3.27 goals per game this year, which is the sixth-best mark in the league.
