Impact Daccord was defeated for the first time this season, though the Kraken were able to rally from behind to force overtime. While he's 3-0-1, Daccord has allowed three or more goals in three of his four starts. Impact Daccord will make his fourth start of the year. He's allowed eight goals on 93 shots while winning all three of his previous starts to begin the year. The 28-year-old goalie has alternated starts with Philipp Grubauer so far and it doesn't appear that's going to change any time soon.

Impact Daccord remains undefeated this season, and he did so by taking out the previously unbeaten Flames in a tight game. The 28-year-old goalie has allowed eight goals on 94 shots so far. The Kraken are finding success by alternating Daccord and Phillip Grubauer for starts -- if that pattern holds, Grubauer would start against the Avalanche on Tuesday while Daccord would face another currently unbeaten team, the Jets, on Thursday.

Set to start Saturday Daccord was the first goaltender off the ice at the morning skate, per Kate Shefte of The Seattle Times, indicating he will patrol the home crease Saturday against Calgary.
Impact Daccord is coming off a 30-save performance in Tuesday's 7-3 victory over Nashville. He has stopped 64 of 71 shots en route to a 2-0-0 record this season. Calgary has four straight wins to open the 2024-25 campaign while producing 19 goals.

Starting in Nashville Daccord will defend the road net Tuesday against the Predators, Bob Condor of the Kraken's official site reports.
Impact During his season debut versus Minnesota on Saturday, Daccord stopped 34 of 38 shots in a 5-4 shootout win. He has been rotating starts with Philipp Grubauer this season, but Seattle could begin to go with the hot hand eventually. Nashville has struggled offensively in 2024-25, scoring three goals in two contests.

Makes 34 saves in win Saturday Daccord allowed four goals on 38 shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Wild.
Impact Daccord got the start between the pipes Saturday after not playing in the season-opening 3-2 loss to the Blues on Tuesday, and he came up huge in the shootout after denying Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy to lift the Kraken to their first win of the campaign. Daccord is expected to return to his backup role Sunday, however, as Philipp Grubauer is expected to start Sunday in a tough road matchup against the Stars.

Re-ups with club Daccord signed a five-year, $25 million contract extension with Seattle on Wednesday, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.
Impact Daccord played in 50 games for the Kraken last year in which he posted a 19-18-11 record, 2.46 GAA and three shutouts. The 28-year-old backstop enters the campaign as the No. 2 option behind Philipp Grubauer but could force his way into a split share if he can produce similar numbers. With a back-to-back upcoming, Daccord should make his season debut against Minnesota or Dallas on Saturday or Sunday, respectively.
OCTOBER 9, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
In net against Calgary Daccord will guard the road crease in Monday's road exhibition contest versus the Flames.
Impact It will be Daccord's third appearance of the preseason -- the 28-year-old turned away 19 of 20 shots in Friday's win over Vancouver. Daccord will form a tandem in net with Philipp Grubauer in 2024-25, at least to start the season.
OCTOBER 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Set to start Friday Daccord is slated to start in Friday's preseason home game against Vancouver, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.
Impact Daccord surrendered two goals on 19 shots across two periods in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Vancouver. Both of the goals he surrendered occurred on the power play. He posted a 19-18-11 record, 2.46 GAA and .916 save percentage in 50 contests with Seattle in 2023-24. That strong play gave him an edge over Philipp Grubauer last season, but the two are expected to both get plenty of opportunities in 2024-25.
SEPTEMBER 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Making preseason debut Tuesday Daccord will start Tuesday's preseason contest on the road against Vancouver, Alison Lukan of Root Sports reports.
Impact Daccord figures to share goaltending duties this year with Philipp Grubauer, who'll start Sunday's preseason opener. Daccord is expected to play the first two periods Tuesday before Ales Stezka takes over in the third.
SEPTEMBER 22, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Picks up win Thursday Daccord made 21 saves in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Wild.
Impact Most of the scoring came in the third period, as Daccord and Marc-Andre Fleury battled to a 1-1 tie through the first 40 minutes. Daccord ceded the starting role for the Kraken back to Philipp Grubauer after the All-Star break, but the 27-year-old netminder still put together a strong first full NHL campaign, posting a 19-18-11 record with a 2.46 GAA and .916 save percentage. Grubauer still has three years left on his contract with a $5.9 million AAV, but the younger and cheaper Daccord could push for the No. 1 job in camp next season.
APRIL 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Starting season finale Daccord will guard the road goal versus the Wild on Thursday, per the NHL media site.
Impact Daccord will get the last game of the season, having allowed eight goals during his current three-game losing streak. The Wild have scored 19 goals over their last six contests and could be a challenge.
APRIL 18, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Allows three in loss Daccord stopped 24 of 27 St. Louis shots during Sunday's 4-1 loss.
Impact That's three straight losses for the 27-year-old netminder. With 45 starts and 49 appearances, Daccord performed admirably during his first season of heavy usage. He'd previously appeared in 19 total games across four campaigns. This season, he gathered 18 wins with three shutouts and a .916 save percentage. At a minimum, he should challenge for the starting job next year.
APRIL 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Starting in St. Louis Daccord will guard the road goal Sunday against the Blues, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Impact Daccord is coming off a 20-save effort in Thursday's 3-1 loss to San Jose. In 48 appearances this season, he has compiled a record of 18-17-11 with a 2.43 GAA and a .917 save percentage. St. Louis ranks 24th in the league with 2.86 goals per contest this campaign.
APRIL 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gives up three goals in loss Daccord stopped 20 of 23 shots in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Sharks.
Impact The Kraken tilted the ice toward the Sharks' zone, but Devin Cooley was sharp in stopping 49 of their 50 shots on goal. This was Daccord's first start in April, but he has just two wins over nine outings since the beginning of March. He's now at 18-17-11 with a 2.43 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 48 appearances this season. The Kraken have a back-to-back in Dallas on Saturday and in St. Louis on Sunday, so Philipp Grubauer and Daccord should split the next two games.
APRIL 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Slated to start Thursday Daccord is set to start at home against San Jose on Thursday, per Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.
Impact Daccord stopped a respectable 27 of 29 shots, but still suffered a 3-0 loss to Dallas in his last start March 30. He has an 18-16-11 record, 2.42 GAA and .918 save percentage across 47 appearances this year. The Sharks, who rank 31st offensively with 2.21 goals per contest, figure to be a very favorable matchup for Daccord.
