Dmitry Kulikov - Injured on Long Island Kulikov sustained an upper-body injury Sunday against the Islanders and will not return.
Impact Kulikov immediately departed the game after suffering his injury on a play in which he received a minor penalty for holding against New York's Anthony Duclair. Kulikov will presumably be fully evaluated when the team returns to Florida after Sunday's game. The Panthers are already without Aaron Ekblad (suspension) on the blue line, and if Kulikov has to miss any time, the team will have to summon a defenseman from AHL Charlotte -- Tobias Bjornfot, who has made eight appearances with Florida this season, would probably be first in line for a promotion.

Vitek Vanecek - Tending twine Sunday Vanecek will defend the road net against the Islanders on Sunday, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Impact Vanecek will get the second half of the Panthers' back-to-back after Sergei Bobrovsky played in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Montreal. During his Florida debut, the 29-year-old Vanecek earned a 21-save shutout in a 4-0 victory over Buffalo on March 8. The Islanders sit 28th in the league with 2.66 goals per game in 2024-25.

Mackie Samoskevich - Nets lone goal in Saturday's loss Samoskevich scored a goal, added two PIM and logged three hits in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Canadiens.
Impact Samoskevich has scored in every second game since Feb. 25, racking up five goals and three assists over nine contests in that span. The 22-year-old is finding consistent success in a second-line role while the Panthers await the returns of Brad Marchand (upper body) and Matthew Tkachuk (groin). For the season, Samoskevich has 13 goals, 25 points, 100 shots on net, 104 hits and a plus-2 rating through 58 appearances. His role will decrease eventually, but fantasy managers can deploy him as a depth forward until that happens.

David Savard - Notches assist in win Savard recorded an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.
Impact The helper snapped an eight-game point drought for Savard. That's not unusually for the 34-year-old defenseman -- his primary contribution comes in blocked shots, which he's had 29 of over his last 10 outings. For the season, he's at 13 points, 40 shots on net, 30 PIM, 49 hits and 151 blocks over 60 outings. He'll likely finish short of the 20-point mark for the first time in three years barring an improbable surge on offense over the final month of the campaign.

Christian Dvorak - Puts away insurance goal Dvorak scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Panthers.
Impact Dvorak ended a nine-game goal drought, in which he had three assists, with his third-period tally Saturday. The defensive center is up to seven goals, 21 points, 87 shots on net, 58 blocked shots, 34 hits and a minus-10 rating across 66 appearances this season. He remains in a third-line role and is unlikely to work his way into the top six without injuries to other players.
