Taylor Makar - Sent to minors Makar was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Saturday.

Impact Makar had one hit in 6:07 of ice time during the Avalanche's 3-2 overtime loss to San Jose before he was sent to the minors. The Avalanche are down to 11 healthy forwards for Tuesday's tilt against Tampa Bay, but it's possible Gavin Brindley (upper body) will be available for that game. If Brindley can't play Tuesday, then Colorado will probably summon a forward from the AHL.

Impact Humphreys has been rolling lately with four multi-point efforts over his last five games. He has three goals and seven assists in that span. The Avalanche prospect is up to six tallies and 21 points through 14 contests overall as he continues to display an improved scoring touch in his second season of junior hockey.

Impact Brindley will miss at least one game after being injured in Friday's 4-2 win over Vegas. Due to Brindley's absence, Taylor Makar will make his NHL debut on Colorado's fourth line versus the Sharks on Saturday.
