Impact Lomberg missed the last two games awaiting the birth of his third child as the Flames were on the road. Lomberg snapped a 12-game pointless streak in his last game, picking up an assist in a 4-3 loss to St. Louis on Dec. 5. Overall, the feisty forward has three helpers in 27 games with the Flames this season. Look for Lomberg to see fourth-line duty versus Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Dan Vladar - Facing Lightning Vladar will defend the home crease versus Tampa Bay on Thursday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Impact Vladar will make his fifth start in the last six games as Dustin Wolf seems to be second on the depth chart of late. Vladar is 2-0-1 in his last three games, stopping seven of 60 shots. He has a tough matchup versus Tampa Bay as the Lightning are second in NHL scoring, averaging 3.81 goals per game in 2024-25.

Walker Duehr - Rejoins NHL club Duehr was recalled by the Flames on Thursday.
Impact Duehr was sent down Wednesday, but he'll rejoin the Flames a day later, as his move to the minors appears to have been for cap-saving purposes. Over four NHL appearances this season, he's recorded an assist, eight hits and three blocked shots while averaging 10:08 of ice time.

Jakob Pelletier - Back in bigs Pelletier was called up from AHL Calgary on Thursday.
Impact Pelletier was sent down Wednesday to relieve some salary cap space and was recalled along with Walker Duehr to give the Flames 12 healthy forwards ahead of Thursday's tilt with Tampa Bay. Pelletier has a goal and an assist in four NHL games this season, as well as three goals and 19 points in 20 AHL games.

Tyson Barrie - Lacking playing time Barrie was scratched for the 12th straight game Tuesday in a 4-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Barrie played in seven of eight games between Oct. 30 and Nov. 12, but he hasn't been in the lineup since. Jake Bean has been the primary beneficiary of Barrie falling out of favor, though Joel Hanley is also in the mix as the Flames continue to carry eight blueliners. Barrie has two points, 12 shots on net, eight hits and eight blocked shots over nine appearances.

Brayden Pachal - Tallies game-tying goal Pachal scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Pachal's first goal of the season and first point since Opening Night tied the game at 3-3, helping the Flames bounce back from their third deficit of the contest. The 25-year-old has just two points over 29 appearances, but he's been a fixture on the third pairing throughout the season. He's added 29 shots on net, 68 hits, 32 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a minus-5 rating.
