Ivan Prosvetov - Expected to start Wednesday Prosvetov is slated to get the home start for Wednesday's preseason game against Vancouver, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Impact Prosvetov is likely to play in just half the game before Devin Cooley takes over for the remainder. The 26-year-old Prosvetov had a 4-3-1 record, 3.16 GAA and .895 save percentage in 11 regular-season outings with Colorado in 2023-24, but he spent the full 2024-25 campaign with the KHL's CSKA Moscow, posting a 2.32 GAA and a .920 save percentage across 38 regular-season outings. Prosvetov and Cooley are competing to start the upcoming campaign as Dustin Wolf's understudy.

Dustin Wolf - Poised to start Friday Wolf is expected to guard the cage at home against the Jets on Friday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Impact Wolf will feature in the preseason finale for the Flames and is the presumptive starter for Opening Night against Edmonton on Oct. 8. If the 24-year-old netminder can get a few extra starts this season, after playing in 53 games last year, he could top the 30-win mark after coming up one victory shy in 2024-25. As a potential workhorse option in Calgary, Wolf should be near the top of the goalie list heading into draft season.

Sam Morton - Waived for AHL demotion Morton was moved to waivers Tuesday to be sent to AHL Calgary.
Impact Morton generated 20 goals and 45 points in 70 regular-season games with AHL Calgary in 2024-25. He also scored a goal against the Kings on April 17 in his NHL debut. If he clears, the 26-year-old forward will probably spend most of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.
