Nazem Kadri - Picks up power-play helper Kadri logged a power-play assist in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Mammoth.
Impact Kadri has earned three helpers, including two on the power play, over the Flames' first five games. The center has added 11 shots on net, three hits, three blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-5 rating. Kadri is playing big minutes as the top-line center on a team that has struggled to find consistent offense, so his fantasy value is dependent on which categories are in play. He should offer decent offense and a strong shot volume, but he'll likely have a negative plus-minus rating throughout the year.

Rasmus Andersson - Strikes on power play Andersson scored a power-play goal on two shots in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Mammoth.
Impact Andersson got the Flames on the board at 8:37 of the first period, but it was their only goal of the game. The 28-year-old blueliner is still seeing power-play time on the second unit, which also features rookie defenseman Zayne Parekh. The goal was Andersson's first point in five games to go with a 10 shots on net, six blocked shots, two hits and minus-1 rating. He was limited to 31 points over 81 appearances in 2024-25, his lowest total in four years, and he's not trending toward a bounce-back campaign early in 2025-26.

Devin Cooley - Loses team debut Cooley stopped 29 of 31 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Mammoth. The third goal was an empty-netter.
Impact While he took the loss in his Flames debut, he kept the game from getting out of hand. Cooley won't be expected to play much behind burgeoning star goalie Dustin Wolf, but performances like this one should help Cooley stay with the big club. Expect Wolf back between the pipes for Saturday's game in Vegas.
