Jordan Magee - Won't play against Dallas Magee (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Todd reports.
Impact Magee opened the week with consecutive limited practices. However, he was a DNP on Friday, and his hamstring injury is severe enough for him to miss a second straight game. The rookie fifth-round pick will end the 2024 regular season with nine tackles (seven solo) across eight games, and he'll shift his focus to being available for the wild-card round of the playoffs.

K.J. Osborn - Questionable for Week 18 Osborn (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Claimed off waivers from New England on Dec. 11, Osborn played 19 offensive snaps last Sunday night against the Falcons but wasn't targeted in the passing game. It was his first action with the Commanders after being deemed inactive for Weeks 15 and 16. Osborn has little to no fantasy value for Sunday's regular-season finale should he be cleared to play.

Dyami Brown - Back in for Week 18 Brown (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Brown upgraded to full practice participation Friday to avoid an injury designation after being a non-participant Wednesday and limited Thursday. He's set to return after a one-game absence and figures to reprise a starting role on the outside in Washington's final regular-season action before the playoffs.

Impact The Commanders designated Ekeler to return from injured reserve Wednesday, at which point he logged the first of three consecutive full practices. He'll need to be activated from IR on Saturday in order to play in the regular-season finale. If that happens, it'll likely mean reduced workloads for Jeremy McNichols and/or Chris Rodriguez, and it's also possible Ekeler would cut into Brian Robinson's usage.

Marshon Lattimore - Ruled out for Week 18 Lattimore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Impact Lattimore missed Weeks 9-13 with a hamstring injury, returned for two games, and then was back on the shelf last week against the Falcons with the same injury. He'll miss a second straight contest. The Commanders will hope to get Lattimore ready for the start of the playoffs next week, but Mike Sainristil, Noah Igbinoghine and Michael Davis look set to handle cornerback duties again while Lattimore is sidelined.

Impact Ekeler remains on injured reserve due to the concussion he suffered late in a Week 12 matchup with the Cowboys, but his ability to log back-to-back uncapped sessions to begin Week 18 prep implies he's closing in on gaining clearance from an independent neurologist. He'll have to do just that, and then the Commanders will need to activate him from IR by Saturday's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline, in order for him to have a chance to play Sunday at Dallas.

Impact This marks Brown's first notable on-field work since injuring his hamstring Week 16 against the Eagles. He thus will have one more session this week Friday to prove his health, at which point the Commanders could make a decision on his availability, or lack thereof, ahead of Sunday's game at Dallas. Washington can clinch the No. 6 seed in the NFC with a win this weekend, so having all skill-position players available would increase its odds to do so.

Marshon Lattimore - Still nursing injury Lattimore (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
Impact The 28-year-old cornerback has yet to return to practice since sustaining a hamstring injury in the Commanders' Week 16 win over the Eagles. Lattimore has played in just two games since being traded to Washington in early November, recording four total tackles and three passes defended. He'll need to practice in at least a limited capacity Thursday or Friday in order to suit up in Week 18, when the Cowboys host the Commanders.

Impact Full participation improves Ekeler's odds of playing Sunday against the Cowboys, although it's still possible the Commanders hold him out or only give him a small workload. A win this Sunday gives Washington the No. 6 seed and a first-round matchup with the Rams or Buccaneers, while a loss could drop Washington to No. 7 (if Green Bay beats Chicago) and set up a more challenging playoff matchup with the Eagles.

Impact Brown was injured Week 16 and missed Week 17, with his absence opening up more playing time for Olamide Zaccheaus, who took full advantage with three TDs over the past two games. It's possible Zaccheaus' emergence will mean a limited role for Brown once he returns, although that wouldn't be anything new after he spent much of the year backing up Noah Brown (IR - kidney). There's also some chance the Commanders get (Noah) Brown back during the playoffs, so there's a narrow path for (Dyami) Brown to occupy a starting role this January.

Austin Ekeler - Practice window opened The Commanders have opened the the 21-day practice window for Ekeler, who was placed on IR on Nov. 30 due to a concussion.
Impact It remains to be seen if Ekeler will be activated ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cowboys, but at a minimum the veteran running back will be able to get some practice reps in prior to Washington's upcoming playoff run. If Ekeler is active versus Dallas, he'd probably be eased back into the mix, however, with Brian Robinson, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez also available to handle Week 18 backfield reps.

Jeremy McNichols - Three touches in Week 17 McNichols rushed once for five yards and caught two of three targets for five yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Falcons.
Impact McNichols operated as the Commanders' No. 2 running back behind Brian Robinson, playing just 22 of Washington's 83 offensive snaps Sunday. The 29-year-old running back has not been involved much on the ground lately, handling just five total carries since the Week 14 bye. Based on his limited usage, McNichols should not be relied upon for fantasy when the Commanders host the Cowboys in Week 18.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Scores touchdown in win Rodriguez rushed five times for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Falcons. He added one catch on his lone target for 12 yards.
Impact Rodriguez played 18 of the Commanders' 83 offensive snaps Sunday, his highest offensive snap total since Week 13. The 24-year-old's touchdown was his second trip to the end zone this season. With that said, Rodriguez has not seen consistent usage in his eight appearances, making him difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 18 matchup against the Cowboys.
