Falcons cut WR Batson from practice squad after arrest

The Atlanta Falcons have released receiver Cameron Batson from the practice squad after an altercation with police led to his arrest over the weekend

Joshua Dobbs - Will start Week 18 Head coach Mike Vrabel said Monday that Dobbs will start Saturday's game against the Jaguars, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.
Impact With Ryan Tannehill (ankle) sidelined, Malik Willis drew the start in Week 16, but after a disappointing loss to Houston, Tennessee opted to give Dobbs a chance in Week 17. While the Titans still lost to Dallas, Vrabel said he liked Dobbs' decision making during the contest and will give the veteran backup another opportunity during Saturday's AFC South title match against Jacksonville. Dobbs completed 20 of 39 passes for 232 yards, a touchdown and an interception during the Week 17 loss to Dallas. He also rushed three times for 12 yards.

Jack Gibbens - Double-digit tackles in loss Gibbens recorded 10 tackles (five solo) in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact Gibbens has seen his workload expand in each of the last four weeks, helping fill in for David Long (elbow) who was placed on injured reserve in Week 13. Gibbens played every defensive snap in Thursday's loss, raising his tackle count for the fourth consecutive game. The linebacker has compiled 24 tackles, a pass deflection and an interception over the last four contests, his first four appearances of the campaign.

Monty Rice - Records 13 tackles in loss Rice registered 13 tackles (eight solo) in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact Rice was all over the field Thursday, recording a season-high 13 tackles while playing 82 percent of the defensive snaps. Since David Long (elbow) went down in Week 13, Rice has seen a significant increase in usage, producing 39 tackles and a pass deflection over the last four contests. The linebacker will in all likelihood remain busy in the Titans' regular season finale against the Jaguars in Week 18.

Impact Bullock made both of his field goals, which came from 37 and 29 yards, in the second quarter. The performance marked only the third time this season that Bullock has made multiple field goals in a game, and this was his first time doing so since Week 7. For the season, Bullock has made 14 of his 17 field-goal attempts and all 27 of his extra-point attempts.

Impact Several of the Titans' pass catchers saw improved efficiency with Joshua Dobbs under center rather than Malik Willis. Julius Chestnut - Makes impact as pass catcher Chestnut rushed the ball four times for minus-one yard in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys. He added one reception for 33 yards.
Impact Chestnut played 14 offensive snaps, second on the team behind Hassan Haskins. He was bottled up on the ground, though he did manage to set the Titans up for a field goal with his 33-yard reception late in the second quarter. With Derrick Henry (hip) expected to return in Week 18 against Jacksonville, Chestnut will slip back to third on the running back depth chart.

Racey McMath - Makes long catch McMath recorded one catch on two targets for 39 yards in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact McMath played only 15 snaps, the fifth-highest number among the Titans' receiving corps. However, he still managed to finish tied for the second-most yards on the team thanks to a long reception early in the second quarter. McMath has yet to play more than 34 percent of offensive snaps across four games this season, leaving him with minimal opportunity to make an impact on the stat sheet.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Limited to four yards in loss Westbrook-Ikhine recorded one reception on three targets for four yards in Thursday's 27-13 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact Westbrook-Ikhine maintained a significant role in the Titans' offense from a snaps perspective, though he couldn't make an impact on the stat sheet. His lone catch of the day came midway through the second quarter. Westbrook-Ikhine now has under 25 receiving yards in five consecutive games.

Impact The Titans went with Dobbs against Dallas on Thursday, and the 27-year-old quarterback threw for a respectable 232 yards with one touchdown and two turnovers in the 27-13 loss. Willis is more capable of making plays with his legs, but the rookie third-round pick out of Liberty failed to break triple digits in passing yards in any of his first three NFL starts. Needing a Week 18 win to make the postseason, the Titans will prioritize winning now over any future development, which could give Dobbs the inside track given Willis' struggles as a passer to date.

Hassan Haskins - Serviceable as Henry replacement Haskins rushed 12 times for 40 yards and brought in two of three targets for 13 yards in the Titans' 27-13 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Impact Haskins took the reins of the backfield in place of the inactive Derrick Henry (hip), and the rookie turned in a solid performance overall versus a tough Cowboys defense. Haskins did frequently find running room at a premium -- outside his long run of 12 yards, the 2022 fourth-round pick gained only 28 yards on his other 11 totes. With Henry expected to be available for the Week 18 road matchup versus the Jaguars a week from Sunday that will determine the AFC South champion, Haskins projects to return to a No. 2 role that's afforded him very sparse opportunity even after the placement of Dontrell Hilliard (neck) on injured reserve prior to Week 15.
