Tyjae Spears - Questionable despite full practice
Spears (ankle) practiced fully Friday but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
Spears and coach Brian Callahan both expressed optimism throughout the week that the running back would be available Sunday, and Spears' full participation Friday is further evidence in that direction, though there's still doubt hanging over his head due to the questionable designation. If Spears is cleared to suit up Sunday, he will presumably continue to cede the majority of backfield touches to Tony Pollard, who has 43 combined carries and targets through two weeks to Spears' 16.

Tyjae Spears - Questionable for Sunday
Spears (ankle) is slated to be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
Spears didn't practice Wednesday, but returned to a limited session a day later, and per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com, coach Brian Callahan expects the running back to be available this weekend. If that ends up being the case, Spears would be in line to continue to work alongside Tony Pollard in the Titans' Week 3 backfield.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - No targets through two weeks
Westbrook-Ikhine played 10 of the Titans' 66 snaps on offense and didn't draw a target in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets.
Impact
After logging at least half of the Titans' snaps in 12 of his 14 appearances in 2023, Westbrook-Ikhine has seen his playing time diminish under Tennessee's new coaching staff. The offseason additions of Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd have pushed him down the depth chart, but Westbrook-Ikhine hasn't taken advantage of DeAndre Hopkins being limited to 26- and 43-percent snap shares in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively, while easing back in from a knee injury that surfaced in training camp. Westbrook-Ikhine has yet to draw a target through two games, and his involvement in the passing game isn't likely to increase with Hopkins' playing time only expected to rise in the weeks to come.

Tyjae Spears - Logs limited practice
Spears (ankle) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Spears, who didn't practice Wednesday, has expressed confidence that he'll be able to play Sunday against the Packers, but he'll probably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid a Week 3 injury designation. Assuming the running back is available this weekend, offensive coordinator Nick Holz indicated Thursday that he hopes to get both Spears and Tony Pollard involved moving forward in a time-share that could result in the two seeing close to even snap counts, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Tyjae Spears - Back at practice
Spears (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Spears didn't practice Wednesday, but his return to the field a day later isn't surprising, giving his previous assertion that he'd be available Sunday against the Packers, per John Glennon of NashvillePost.com. That notion would be further solidified if Spears is listed as a full participant in Thursday's session.

DeAndre Hopkins - Should take on more snaps
Coach Brian Callahan said Wednesday that Hopkins' role will increase in the coming weeks, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
After missing training camp and preseason with an MCL sprain, Hopkins played only 25 percent of snaps in Week 1 and 43 percent in Week 2, drawing three targets on 23 routes between the two games. He should get more playing time Week 3 against the Packers -- likely at Treylon Burks' expense -- but Hopkins' fantasy prospects don't look great with QB Will Levis struggling under Callahan so far.

Tyjae Spears - Doesn't practice Wednesday
Spears (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
At first glance, Spears' 'DNP' to start the practice week might be concerning, but for his part the running back plans to play Sunday against the Packers, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Supporting that notion is that prior to Wednesday's session, coach Brian Callahan reiterated that moving forward he wants to get more touches for Spears, who exited this past Sunday's loss to the Jets with an ankle injury that is not thought to be serious.

Tyjae Spears - Not seen at practice
Spears (ankle) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
Coach Brian Callahan indicated earlier this week that Spears was "day-to-day" with an ankle issue that's not believed to be serious, but the running back's absence from the early portion of Wednesday's session makes his status worth monitoring. If Spears is limited or out Sunday against the Packers, Tony Pollard would be in line for added touches in Week 3.

Nick Folk - Tallies five points
Folk made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets.
Impact
Folk gave the Titans a 10-7 lead with a 41-yard field goal just before halftime. While that was his only field-goal attempt of the day, Folk remains very accurate when called upon and now has makes from 40 and 41 yards to begin the campaign.

Josh Whyle - First catches of 2024
Whyle recorded two receptions on two targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets.
Impact
Whyle saw his offensive snap rate rise from 30 percent in Week 1 to 42 percent Sunday. He was able to pick up his first catches of the season, highlighted by a 12-yard gain late in the first quarter that set up a touchdown two plays later. Whyle could continue to see his snap rate rise as the season progresses, as Chigoziem Okonkwo has failed to make a consistent mark on Tennessee's offense across the last three seasons.

ROTOWIRE
Chig Okonkwo - Three catches against Jets
Okonkwo recorded three receptions on three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets.
Impact
Okonkwo saw his snap rate dip below 50 percent and narrowly out-produced Josh Whyle. A touchdown propped up Okonkwo's Week 1 stat line, though he now has only 31 yards combined on five catches across two games.

•
ROTOWIRE
Julius Chestnut - Earns one offensive snap
Chestnut played one offensive snap and 17 on special teams in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets.
Impact
Chestnut played exclusively on special teams in Week 1 and saw a similar role in Week 2. He did take the field for his first offensive snap with Tyjae Spears (ankle) sidelined, and Chestnut could enter a Week 3 matchup against Green Bay as the primary backup to Tony Pollard.

•
ROTOWIRE
Treylon Burks - No stats in Week 2
Burks was targeted once but did not record a catch in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Jets.
Impact
Burks saw his snap rate fall from 70 percent in Week 1 to 50 percent Sunday. That was primarily due to DeAndre Hopkins ramping up his workload, and that trend will likely continue as the season progresses.
