Uchenna Nwosu - Expects to go to IR Nwosu is expected to be placed on Seattle's injured reserve list as he nurses a thigh injury, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Impact The thigh issue Nwosu picked up during Sunday's game versus the Giants is evidently severe enough that it will probably keep him out for at least four weeks. In his stead, Trevis Gipson would be in line for an uptick in reps on the edge.

Impact Mafe has been sidelined the previous two games due to a knee injury. His limited practice estimate indicates he is trending in the right direction, but it remains to be seen if he will be able to suit up Thursday versus the 49ers.

Impact Woolen was unable to return Sunday against the Giants after injuring his ankle. His status on a short week is certainly up in the air at this point. Dee Williams and Nehemiah Pritchett are candidates to replace his snaps at cornerback if he is ultimately unable to suit up versus the 49ers.

Impact Smith-Njigba finally cashed in his first receiving touchdown of the season after being held scoreless in Seattle's previous four contests. The sophomore receiver is now up to a 29-257-1 receiving line through five weeks, giving him modest fantasy value as we pass the quarter point of the regular season. Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks will have a short week of preparation ahead of Thursday's tilt against the 49ers.

Impact Metcalf had been dealing with a hand injury during practice this week, but he was cleared along with starting running back Kenneth Walker (oblique) prior to Sunday's kickoff. The 26-year-old Metcalf turned in a modest receiving line, but he coughed up his second fumble in as many weeks to hurt fantasy managers. Metcalf was coming off of three consecutive games with 100 or more receiving yards, so GMs should stick with the fantasy stud against the 49ers on Thursday despite Week 5's poor results.

Kenneth Walker III - Struggles in defeat Walker rushed five times for 19 yards and caught seven of eight targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 29-20 loss to the Giants.
Impact Walked did not carry an injury designation into Sunday's tilt after being limited during the practice week due to a lingering oblique injury. The veteran starter scored three touchdowns in his return from the aforementioned oblique strain in Week 4, so his poor performance against the Giants wasn't related. The Seahawks have hit a two-game skid, but Smith has been doing his part with some strong numbers in recent weeks heading into Thursday's tilt against San Francisco.
