AJ Barner - Catches lone target Barner caught his lone target for 13 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
Impact The rookie fourth-round pick has caught just one pass in back-to-back games, and he now has seven receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown through six games. Barner and Pharaoh Brown are splitting time behind lead tight end Noah Fant, and neither player has made enough of an impact as a pass-catcher to separate himself.

Laviska Shenault Jr. - Returns kick for touchdown Shenault returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers. He finished with 189 return yards.
Impact Shenault lost a fumble on a kickoff return earlier in the game, but he made up for the mistake with a key kickoff return touchdown in the second quarter to keep the Seahawks in the game. The 2020 second-round pick has just four catches for 26 yards this season, but his special-teams acumen will remain beneficial for the Seahawks.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Jake Bobo - Catches two passes in loss Bobo caught two of four targets for 18 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
Impact Both of Bobo's receptions came late in the fourth quarter while the Seahawks were trailing. Bobo's four targets ranked sixth among Seahawks pass-catchers, and he'll continue to provide limited fantasy appeal.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Noah Fant - Best outing of season Fant caught all six of his targets for 63 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
Impact This was Fant's second game with six receptions and 60-plus yards. In the other four games, the 2019 first-round pick failed to post more than 26 yards. It will be difficult to identify these breakout scenarios moving forward, but Fant should be a fine fantasy streamer when bye weeks surface.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Zach Charbonnet - Registers 35 yards in loss Charbonnet rushed five times for 20 yards and caught his lone target for 15 yards in Sunday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
Impact Kenneth Walker remained the clear No. 2 option in the Seahawks' backfield, as fellow running back recorded 14 carries and eight catches (eight targets) for a combined 69 yards. Thus, Charbonnet won't be a dependable fantasy option as long as Walker is healthy, but he should have some deep-league appeal in favorable matchups.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Solid showing in loss Smith-Njigba brought in five of nine targets for 53 yards and committed a fumble recovered by Seattle in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
Impact Smith-Njigba got off to a slow start, but he finished third in both receptions and receiving yards and second in targets by night's end. The second-year wideout has enjoyed a robust role in offensive Ryan Grubb's system on most weeks thus far, logging at least seven targets in three straight games and four occasions overall. Smith-Njigba also has at least four receptions in three consecutive contests heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 20.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
DK Metcalf - Inefficient on 11 targets Metcalf secured three of 11 targets for 48 yards in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
Impact Metcalf's team-high target share largely went for naught, as the star wideout struggled outside of a 30-yard grab. The 2019 second-round pick put together three consecutive 100-yard tallies in Weeks 2-4, but he's now generated back-to-back sub-60-yard tallies over a four-day period. Metcalf's next opportunity to get back on track comes in a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 20.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Lockett - Paces pass catchers in loss Lockett secured four of eight targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
Impact Lockett's receiving yardage total paced the Seahawks on the night, and he was also the only Seattle pass catcher to find the end zone. The veteran receiver's impressive nine-yard grab in the back of the end zone late in the fourth quarter gave the Seahawks brief hope by narrowing their deficit to five points and also served as Lockett's first touchdown of the campaign. The 10th-year pro heads into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons with a four-game streak of at least four receptions and six targets.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Kenneth Walker III - Salvages inefficient rushing night Walker rushed 14 times for 32 yards and a touchdown and secured all eight targets for 37 yards in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
Impact Walker's highly inefficient work on the ground was partly offset by his one-yard scoring run late in the third quarter and his second straight very busy game as a receiver. The third-year back's reception total was a new career high, besting the seven catches he'd just recorded in a Week 5 loss to the Giants. Walker's rushing struggles are a concern heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 20, as he's now gained just 51 yards on 19 carries over his last pair of contests.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Geno Smith - Mixed performance in Week 6 loss Smith completed 30 of 52 passes for 312 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and rushed once for no gain in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night.
Impact Smith was able to post his third 300-yard effort of the season, but it was partly marred by his second multi-interception tally. Both of Smith's interceptions were particularly costly, with the first short-circuiting the opening possession of the game at the 49ers' two-yard line and the second coming in Seattle territory just before the midway point of the fourth quarter and the Seahawks down by six. Smith did distribute the ball in impressive fashion while connecting with eight different targets overall, and he's now put up over 50 pass attempts in two of the last three games. Smith next takes aim at the Falcons in a Week 7 road matchup on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Artie Burns - Injures foot Thursday night Burns suffered a foot injury in Thursday's Week 6 game against San Francisco and has been ruled out for the remainder of the contest, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Impact Burns was hurt during the second half and was ruled out in the fourth quarter. The 29-year-old was playing in his first game of the campaign Thursday. Burns logged one tackle and two pass defenses prior to his exit.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tre Brown - Downgraded to out Brown (hand) will not return to Thursday's game against the 49ers, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Impact The cornerback made four solo tackles before exiting. Seattle's other starting outside cornerback, Riq Woolen (ankle), is already inactive. Nehemiah Pritchett is in for Brown, per Bell.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tre Brown - Questionable to return Brown (hand) is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the 49ers, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Impact With Brown questionable and Riq Woolen (ankle) already inactive, the Seahawks are down both of their outside cornerbacks. Brown made four tackles before leaving the game. Nehemiah Pritchett is his backup.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Uchenna Nwosu - Dealing with significant injury Nwosu (thigh) is dealing with a "pretty intense quad strain" according to Seahawks' general manager John Schneider, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Impact Nwosu was placed on injured reserve with a thigh injury Thursday, which is now understood to be a quadriceps issue. Schneider added that the linebacker is "going to miss some time here," so it's unclear if the minimum four weeks on IR will be enough. In the meantime, Trevis Gipson will likely see an increase in workload while Nwosu is unavailable, beginning on Thursday Night Football against the 49ers.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Boye Mafe - Back in action Mafe (knee) is active for Thursday's contest against the 49ers.
Impact Mafe will make his return to the field after missing the team's last two games while nursing a knee injury. The 25-year-old will likely return to his starting role at strongside linebacker versus San Francisco. Over three games this season, Mafe has compiled 13 total tackles (nine solo), including 3.0 sacks, while also notching a pass defensed.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Derick Hall - Active for Week 6 Hall (foot) is active for Thursday's matchup with the 49ers.
Impact Hall left the team's 29-20 loss to the Giants early in Week 5 with a foot injury, but he's now all set to return to the field versus San Francisco. The linebacker has compiled 19 total tackles (11 solo), including an impressive 5.0 sacks, while also forcing two fumbles over five games this season.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Julian Love - Ready to go for TNF Love (hamstring) is active for Thursday's contest with the 49ers.
Impact Love dealt with a hamstring injury at practice this week, but he appears to be a full go Thursday. The 26-year-old has compiled 36 total tackles (28 solo), an interception, a forced fumble and two passes defensed over five games in 2024 as the team's starting free safety.
OCTOBER 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Cameron Young - Placed on active roster Young (knee) was activated from the reserve/PUP list Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Impact Young should suit up and make his season debut against the 49ers on Thursday. The 24-year-old was designated to return Oct. 2 and finally had a chance to practice with the team after being placed on the PUP list as training camp opened. The Mississippi State product should see rotational work on the Seahawks' defensive line.

Uchenna Nwosu - Placed on IR Nwosu (thigh) was placed on Seattle's injured reserve list Friday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Impact Nwosu will now be out for at least four weeks as he nurses a thigh injury that was suffered during last Sunday's game against the Giants. As a result, linebacker Trevis Gipson should see some elevated opportunities as Seattle takes on the Rams this week.
