Staying in Minnesota The Vikings and Peterson agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Impact Peterson announced the news on his "All Things Covered" podcast, confirming that he'll return to Minnesota for a second consecutive year. In his first season with the Vikings, he missed four games due to a hamstring injury and a stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but he still produced when on the field, recording 45 tackles, five pass breakups and a pick-six in 13 contests. Peterson will slot in as a starting cornerback opposite Cameron Dantzler in 2022.
