Impact Humphrey hasn't yet appeared in a game for the Saints this season, but it looks like he could get some work against the Chiefs on Sunday. With Michael Thomas (ankle) on IR, Drew Brees could have to lean on his depth receivers a bit more than usual.

Cleared from injury The Saints activated Humphrey (undisclosed) from the practice squad injured list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Humphrey had resided on the list with the undisclosed issue since Sept. 30, so it's good news that he's been cleared from injury. The Texas product will return to the practice squad to battle for a 53-man roster spot in New Orleans or elsewhere around the league.
