At 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, the 26-year-old will add size and experience to a Giants' wideout corps that also includes Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt, but in his new locale, Humphrey could see a dip in volume in 2025.

Humphrey will head into the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but its possible his long-standing connection with head coach Sean Payton could help him to get another contract offer from the Broncos if he doesn't land with a new team in 2025.

Nonetheless, Humphrey and the Broncos head into a Week 8 matchup against a vulnerable Panthers defense, which could lead to more opportunities for Denver's skill-position players.

Impact Humphrey finished right behind Courtland Sutton for the team lead in receptions while also qualifying as a distant second to his teammate in receiving yards and as the runner-up in targets. Humphrey, who is well versed in head coach Sean Payton's offense from their time together in New Orleans, has quickly built chemistry with rookie quarterback Bo Nix, as the sixth-year pro now sports a 10-87 line on 13 targets over the last two games heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Jets.

The increased workload for Humphrey may have been spurred by the absence of rookie WR Devaughn Vele (ribs), but in any case the former seems poised to be a regular in three-wide sets along with Courtland Sutton and Josh Reynolds for as long as Vele is sidelined.

Impact Humphrey made the play of the game in the second quarter when he took a short pass from Jarrett Stidham and proceeded to juke and jive his way past several certain tackle opportunities before dashing towards the end zone and extending the ball past the goal line for a 54-yard touchdown. It was the only touchdown either team would record Sunday, and it would have also counted as the game-winning score if this were hockey after breaking a then 3-3 tie. While Lil'Jordan had the best game of any Denver receiver, it is important to point out that his four targets finished third behind starters Jerry Jeudy and Brandon Johnson. Perhaps Humphrey's impressive catch and run will earn him more snaps and targets when the Broncos visit the Raiders in Week 18.
