INJURIES

Nate Hobbs - Misses Wednesday's practice Hobbs (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Impact The Illinois product was carted to the locker room after sustaining an ankle injury in Las Vegas' Week 9 loss to Cincinnati, so it's no surprise that he's missing Wednesday's practice. If Hobbs is unable to practice in at least a limited fashion either Thursday or Friday, expect Darnay Holmes and Decamerion Richardson to see increased work with the Raiders' first-team defense in Week 11's matchup against the Dolphins.
NOVEMBER 13, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Harrison Bryant - Opens week as DNP Bryant (ankle) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Impact It appears Bryant is still dealing with the ankle injury sustained in the Raiders' Week 9 loss to the Bengals, despite having a Week 10 bye. The 26-year-old tight end likely needs to upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday in order to take the field in Week 11, when the Raiders face the Dolphins. If he's unable to do so, expect Justin Shorter to serve as Las Vegas' No. 2 tight end Sunday.

Raiders to stick with Gardner Minshew at QB vs. Dolphins on Sunday
Desmond Ridder - Will remain backup Ridder will remain the Raiders' backup to Gardner Minshew for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Despite being pulled late in the Week 9 loss to the Bengals, coach Antonio Pierce announced Minshew will start against Miami. Ridder came on in relief of Minshew versus Cincinnati and fared well against the Bengals' prevent defense, completing 11 of 16 passes for 74 yards and one touchdown. The Raiders aren't ready to give up on their season and will once again give Minshew the nod. However, he remains a weekly candidate to be benched during the game, and therefore is not a recommended fantasy option in any format.
NOVEMBER 13, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gardner Minshew II - Still the starter Minshew will remain the Raiders' starting quarterback Sunday against the Dolphins, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Impact In the wake of a 41-24 loss to the Bengals in Week 9, head coach Antonio Pierce noted his plans to evaluate the Raiders' QB situation heading into the team's bye week, perVic Tafur of The Athletic. On Wednesday, Pierce said "(Minshew) gives us the best opportunity to move forward...what do we got to lose at this point, right? We're 2-7." With no signal-caller change in store, Desmond Ridder will back up Minshew on Sunday.

Raiders tight end Michael Mayer returns after missing 6 games because of personal reasons

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer returned to practice Tuesday
NOVEMBER 12, 2024 • Associated Press
Michael Mayer - Ready to practice again The Raiders designated Mayer (personal) for return from the reserve/non-football illness list Tuesday.
Impact Mayer didn't appear in any of Las Vegas' last six games while he was away from the team tending to a personal matter, but he's ready to resume practicing coming out of the Raiders' Week 10 bye. Though he's not returning from an injury, Mayer could need some time to get himself back in football shape following the lengthy layoff, so he may not be a lock to suit up in Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Whenever he's cleared for game action, Mayer reprise his duties as the Raiders' No. 2 tight end, though he'll often share the field with standout rookie Brock Bowers.

DJ Turner - Zero touches in loss to Bengals Turner returned two punts for 30 yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals, but he was not targeted in the passing game.
Impact Turner's offensive snap share dipped to 34 percent while the newly-signed Ramel Keyton emerged behind fellow wide receivers Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker, with Turner ultimately being held without a single touch for the first time since Week 3. Ahead of the Raiders' Week 10 bye, Turner has posted a 10-99-1 receiving line on 21 total targets through the first nine games of the season.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tre Tucker - Five yards on six targets in loss Tucker caught two of six targets for five yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Tucker is playing nearly every offensive snap for the Raiders since the Davante Adams trade, but the 23-year-old speedster has averaged just 3.9 yards per target over the past three weeks. A potential quarterback change from Gardner Minshew to Desmond Ridder doesn't lend Tucker any significant boost in projection following a Week 10 bye, while Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers continue to emerge as the team's top two receiving threats.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Ameer Abdullah - Paces LV backfield in snaps Sunday Abdullah rushed four times for 12 yards and he caught all three of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Abdullah was dealt at least seven touches for the third time in five games as the Raiders trailed throughout the entire second half Sunday. Abdullah's 30 offensive snaps actually paced his position group ahead of fellow running backs Alexander Mattison and Zamir White, each of whom continue to struggle with inefficiency. Through his first nine contests of the 2024 campaign, Abdullah has taken 16 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown to go along with a 14-60-0 receiving line on 17 targets.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Carlson - Six-point effort Sunday Carlson converted his only field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Carlson still hasn't missed a field-goal attempt since Week 3, and an uninspiring Raiders offense that will likely feature either Gardner Minshew or Desmond Ridder at the helm following a Week 10 bye could struggle to score touchdowns against the Dolphins in Week 11.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Maxx Crosby - Three tackles in loss Crosby recorded three tackles (one solo) in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Crosby also was credited with one pass defensed, but he's now gone two consecutive games without a sack ahead of the Raiders' Week 10 bye. Nonetheless, he's played 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps in three straight contests.
NOVEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Jack Jones - Pick-six vs. Bengals Jones finished Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals with four solo tackles, two pass breakups and an interception that he returned 29 yards for a touchdown.
Impact Jones logged his first interception of the regular season Sunday. He perfectly read a screen pass from Joe Burrow intended for Ja'Marr Chase early in the fourth quarter, which Jones returned for a 29-yard pick-six. Through the first nine games of the 2024 regular season, Jones has logged 34 tackles (26 solo), eight pass breakups and one pick six.
