Modest workload Sunday McKissic ran for 22 yards on four carries while catching four passes on six targets for 34 yards against Green Bay on Sunday.

Impact McKissic produced efficiently against the Packers defense, but some of his usage was likely poached by Taylor Heinicke, who ran for 95 yards on 10 carries. If a couple of those Heinicke carries turn to McKissic targets then the pass-catching specialist could have seen a sizeable boost to his fantasy point total. McKissic should remain steadily involved as Washington heads to Denver on Sunday, especially with starter Antonio Gibson seemingly still bothered by his shin issue.

Tops 100 total yards McKissic rushed the ball eight times for 45 yards in Sunday's 31-13 loss to Kansas City. He added eight receptions for 65 yards.

Impact McKissic saw a season-high eight rushing attempts, in part because Antonio Gibson was battling both shin and calf injuries. Even with increased activity on the ground, McKissic did the majority of his damage as a receiver serving as a checkdown option for Taylor Heinicke. McKissic topped 100 total yards for the first time this season and has racked up multiple receptions in four of six contests. If Gibson is forced to miss time, McKissic would likely share the backfield with Jaret Patterson.

Impact After a limited showing at Wednesday's session, McKissic was uninhibited one day later. At the same time, lead back Antonio Gibson (shin) followed up a DNP on Wednesday with limited work Thursday. Both running backs appear to be trending in the right direction for Sunday's game against the Saints, but Friday's injury report may provide a better picture of Washington's backfield situation upon its release. While McKissic had a quiet Week 1 -- one carry and no catches -- he's been more involved in the offense over the last three games, totaling 26 touches for 190 yards from scrimmage and two TDs.

Impact Washington's skill positions are banged up at the moment, with two running backs and three wide receivers appearing on its Week 5 injury report, while tight end Logan Thomas (hamstring) landed on injured reserve Wednesday. McKissic himself may be healthier than starting RB Antonio Gibson (shin), who didn't practice to kick off the week. Gibson did the same last Thursday before suiting up Week 4 in Atlanta, but McKissic did see a season-high 12 touches for 59 yards from scrimmage and one TD this past Sunday. Assuming both backs are able to suit up Sunday against the Saints, McKissic likely can expect a snap share that hovers around 40 percent, while Gibson get upwards of 60 percent.

Scores game-winning TD McKissic took seven carries for 15 yards and caught each of his five targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-30 win over Atlanta.

Impact Quiet for most of the game, McKissic made a late charge with Washington in comeback mode in the fourth quarter -- similar to his Week 2 outing against the Giants. He again saved his best for last, taking a check-down pass for a diving, 30-yard touchdown to give Washington the lead (and convert a 3rd-and-7) with 33 seconds remaining in Sunday's game. McKissic then came up short of the goal line on a two-point conversion attempt on the next snap, but Washington held on for a win to improve to 2-2 ahead of a Week 5 matchup with New Orleans. For all his late-game heroics, McKissic hasn't seen much involvement in the Washington offense this season apart from two-minute drills and hurry-up mode. He's played between 36 and 46 percent of snaps each week, averaging only 3.8 carries and 3.5 targets even after a busy Week 4.
