Darnell Savage - Limited to start week Savage (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact Savage was sidelined for Week 2 against the Browns after being unable to practice leading up to the contest. His limited participation Thursday is a sign that Savage is moving in the right direction towards playing in Week 3 against the Bills. The Jaguars' injury report Friday and Saturday will provide a better indication of Savage's status ahead of Monday's game.

Impact Bigsby wore a non-contact jersey in Thursday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. The second-year pro sustained a shoulder injury Browns in Week 2, and though he managed to retake the field, that issue could be why Bigsby didn't play any offensive snaps versus Cleveland. Coach Doug Pederson said Thursday that Bigsby would play Monday against the Bills, but it sounds like the Jaguars will be careful with him at practice.

Evan Engram - Misses practice Thursday Engram (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact After suffering a hamstring injury in pre-game warmups, Engram missed this past Sunday's contest against the Browns, and with a missed practice Thursday, it remains to be seen if the tight end will be available Monday night against the Bills. For his part, coach Doug Pederson acknowledged prior to Thursday's session that Engram is "a little bit further away. So, we'll have to take it kind of day-by-day right now with him." Engram has two more chances to log practice activity before the Jaguars post their final Week 3 injury report Saturday.

Tank Bigsby - In line to suit up vs. Bills Coach Doug Pederson said Thursday that Bigsby (shoulder) is "ok" will play versus Buffalo on Monday Night Football, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Impact Bigsby didn't play any offensive snaps versus the Browns in Week 2. He suffered a shoulder injury on a kickoff return in the second quarter, but was subsequently able to retake the field. After Bigsby looked solid for Jacksonville in Week 1, it was likely due to the shoulder issue that he wasn't called upon to handle a single carry behind Travis Etienne versus Cleveland, while D'Ernest Johnson rushed five times for 26 yards. It sounds like the 2023 third-round pick will be able to resume handling the No. 2 backfield role versus Buffalo.

Impact The rookie sixth-round pick played 13 of 60 offensive snaps as he once again operated as the Jaguars' No. 4 wide receiver. Gabe Davis, Christian Kirk and Brian Thomas continue to dominate the snaps at wideout for Jacksonville, and Washington is unlikely to have much involvement in the offensive while that trio remains healthy.

Cam Little - Records first miss Little converted two of three field-goal attempts and made his lone PAT during Sunday's 18-13 loss to the Browns.
Impact The rookie sixth-round pick made all three of his kicks -- including a 53-yard field goal -- during the season opener, but he struck the right upright from 43 yards Sunday for his first career miss in the NFL. Little still made two field goals in the loss, as Jacksonville's struggles in goal-to-go situations led to field-goal attempts from 22 and 25 yards. The Jaguars offense has been inconsistent through the first two weeks of 2024, and that's not a great situation for a rookie kicker from a fantasy perspective.

Impact The 26-year-old had an increased role since starting tight end Evan Engram (hamstring) was a late scratch Sunday, but it was Brenton Strange who operated as Jacksonville's primary tight end with three catches for 65 yards and a 68 percent snap share. Farrell played 28 of 60 offensive snaps and is unlikely to be significantly involved in the passing game even if Engram misses more time.

Impact The 28-year-old didn't play a snap during the season opener, but he operated as Jacksonville's No. 2 tailback during Sunday's contest. Tank Bigsby filled that role Week 1 but suffered a shoulder injury against Cleveland, though he was able to return to the contest. Johnson was the only Jacksonville tailback besides starter Travis Etienne to play any offensive snaps, and it's unclear how much of a role Bigsby's injury played in the backfield hierarchy. Johnson's playing time and production against the Browns should be the expectation if he retains the No. 2 job, so there's limited fantasy appeal while Etienne remains healthy.

Engram's availability for Week 3 remains up in the air, so there's a chance Strange works as Jacksonville's No. 1 tight end for a second straight week. The latter appears to have the edge for playing time over Luke Farrell, who caught both his targets for 13 yards while playing 28 offensive snaps Sunday.

Bigsby had a promising season opener with 12 carries for 73 yards, but his involvement Week 2 left a lot to be desired. Even though he returned to the field, the shoulder injury may have affected Bigsby's role versus the Browns, so he should still be considered Jacksonville's No. 2 running back.

Evan Engram - Week 3 status TBD Coach Doug Pederson noted Monday that there's a degree of optimism with regard to Engram's hamstring issue, but acknowledged that it may be a "week-to-week" deal for the tight end.
Impact Though Engram was not among the Jaguars' initial inactives prior to Sunday's loss to the Browns, he suffered a setback during warmups and was then deemed out by the team ahead of kickoff time. For now, Pederson indicated that the Jaguars will have to "see where (Engram) is this week," but at this stage the tight end's status for the next Monday's tilt against the Bills is cloudy. If Engram is unavailable in Week 3, Brenton Strange and Luke Farrell would once again be in line for added snaps.
