Trevor Lawrence - Trending toward return Sunday Head coach Doug Pederson noted Friday that Lawrence (left shoulder) is trending toward playing Sunday against the Texans, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact When discussing the status of Lawrence -- who has missed two straight games -- Pederson said "he's had a good week. Done some really good things this week. I would say as of right now, yes, he will play." Friday's injury report will provide added context with regard to the Jaguars' Week 13 QB situation by revealing whether or not Lawrence heads into the weekend carrying an injury designation.

Campbell's participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play Sunday, when the Jaguars host the Texans.

Impact ESPN's Michael Di Rocco reports that Lawrence hasn't ruled out eventually having surgery on his sprained left shoulder but hopes to play through the injury for now. That may happen as soon as Sunday against the Texans, with Lawrence coming out of a Week 12 bye after missing back-to-back games. "I think [the sprained AC joint] has been a pretty difficult thing to gauge, of what's the best path forward," Lawrence said Wednesday. "[Surgery is] definitely something that I'm considering and not off the table at all. Hopefully I'm able to get back out there this week or as soon as possible and then it's going to be just every week kind of evaluating it, seeing where it's at."

Impact Lawrence missed the Jaguars' final two games prior to the team's Week 12 bye with an AC joint sprain in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. While the quarterback could require surgery at some point to address the injury, the Jaguars don't appear ready to shut him down for the season just yet. Pederson said that the Jaguars will see how Lawrence fares in practice throughout the week before a determination is made on his status for Sunday's game against the Texans. If Lawrence remains sidelined for another contest, the Jaguars would turn to either Mac Jones or C.J. Beathard to start the Week 13 contest.

After being designated for return from IR on Oct. 30, Robinson has been a full practice participant for the past three weeks, an indication he's made a full recovery from the toe issue. With Travis Etienne, Tank Bigsby (ankle) and D'Ernest Johnson ahead of him in on the depth chart, Robinson may not have an opportunity to contribute on offense right away and could instead see most of his snaps on special teams, where he could be a factor as a return man.

Impact Davis will miss the rest of the season after he suffered a torn meniscus in Sunday's 52-6 loss to the Lions that will need to be surgically repaired. He becomes the second Jaguars starting receiver to go down with a season-ending injury, after Christian Kirk fractured his collarbone in a Week 8 loss to the Packers. The Jaguars are now left with rookie Brian Thomas as their top option at receiver, while the absences of Davis and Kirk could open up more reps for Parker Washington, Tim Jones and Devin Duvernay over the team's final six games. After signing a three-year, $39 million contract in March, Davis will finish his first season in Jacksonville with 20 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns on 42 targets over his 10 appearances.
