Sees highest snap count of season
Ward played a season-high 30 snaps in Sunday's win over the Lions.
Impact
Ward saw more of the field thanks to ankle injuries to Jalen Reagor and to a lesser extent J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. Reagor isn't expected to need a long time to recover, but should he miss Week 9's home matchup against the Chargers, Ward would likely get to line up as Philadelphia's third wide receiver.

ROTOWIRE
Scores in garbage time
Ward caught one of two targets for a 15-yard touchdown in Sunday's 42-30 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact
Ward once again saw most of his action with the game already decided, as his touchdown was the last offensive play of the game for either side. His other target came in the first half, but the Houston product still saw just 21 snaps in this one and remains buried on the depth chart.

Targeted for first time this season
Ward caught his only target for 15 yards in Monday's 41-21 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact
Ward made his first appearance in the box score this season thanks to garbage time, as there were three minutes left in the game when he finally drew a target. He has yet to play more than 21 snaps in any contest this season.

ROTOWIRE
Still no targets in loss
Ward was not targeted in Sunday's loss to the 49ers.
Impact
On the bright side, Ward played 21 snaps on offense, up five from last week. It looks like it will take an injury to one of the Eagles' starting three receivers for him to become relevant in the offense again.

Cedes starting role to Watkins
Ward is listed as the Eagles' backup slot receiver behind starter Quez Watkins on the team's unofficial depth chart ahead of Sunday's Week 1 matchup with the Falcons.
Impact
Though he led all Philadelphia pass catchers with 53 receptions and six touchdowns in 2020, Ward finds himself without a starting role heading into Week 1 after the second-year Watkins surpassed him on the depth chart on the heels of an impressive training camp and preseason. The Eagles may have Ward rotate in with Watkins and play in four-wide formations, but it's clear the 26-year-old won't be handling the 70-plus-percent snap shares he frequently took on in 2020.

Likely to make roster
As the most experienced receiver in camp, Ward is likely to make the roster, Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice reports.
Impact
Ward has been on the Eagles' active roster for just the past two seasons, but that is enough to make him their longest-tenured receiver, especially after you factor in his experience on the team's practice squad and training camps dating back to 2017. While his 53 catches on 79 targets led the club in 2020, the former college quarterback should take a backseat to DeVonta Smith and Jalen Reagor this season while working out of the slot. The 26-year-old can serve as a backup kick returner as well, adding to his chances of making the squad.

Inks ERFA tender
Ward signed his exclusive-rights tender with the Eagles on Monday.
Impact
Ward is now officially under contract with the Eagles, though there was never any doubt about that after the team extended him an ERFA tender in early March. He'll rejoin Philadelphia's receiving corps as a potential starter, in the mix alongside Travis Fulgham, John Hightower and Quez Watkins behind Jalen Reagor (head) as it currently stands.

Gets ERFA tender
The Eagles tendered Ward as an exclusive rights free agent Monday, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Impact
Ward thus can only negotiate with the Eagles this offseason, which makes it seem very likely that he'll stay in Philadelphia. The 25-year-old was the only wideout to start all 16 games for the team in 2020, and he finished with the best stat line of his career (53-419-6). Philadelphia already has parted ways with DeSean Jackson and are expected to release Alshon Jeffrey in the near future, making it conceivable that Ward sees similar opportunities in 2021. Of course, there's always the possibility of the Eagles adding substantial pass-catching competition this offseason.

Improves in second season
Ward finished the 2020 season with 53 catches on 79 targets for 419 yards and six touchdowns.
Impact
At the beginning of the year, Ward seemed buried on the depth chart and headed for limited playing time, but by the end of it, he would be the only pass catcher on the team who played in all 16 games. If the Houston product didn't find the end zone, he didn't do much else, however, as he topped 45 yards receiving just twice all season. The 25-year-old is now an exclusive rights free agent, meaning the Eagles will keep him in 2021 as long as they offer him a contract.

ROTOWIRE
Targeted three times in loss
Ward caught two of his three targets for 27 yards in Sunday's 37-17 loss to the Cowboys.
Impact
Ward has found the end zone three times over the last four weeks, but he has not produced much when he doesn't score. The 25-year-old has topped 30 yards just once over the past six games, while Quez Watkins has been more productive recently despite playing fewer snaps.

ROTOWIRE
Finds end zone twice vs. Cardinals
Ward caught four of five targets for 15 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 33-26 loss to the Cardinals.
Impact
Ward didn't generate much yardage with his receptions, but he wriggled free for a pair of red-zone scores to get his side back in the game in the second quarter. He generated just 20 yards on five targets in last week's win over the Saints, but his usage in the scoring area bodes well for his fantasy value, though he has the look of a rather touchdown-dependent option. Still, Ward has found the end zone six times this season and will look to add to his numbers in next Sunday's matchup with the Cowboys.

•
ROTOWIRE
Targeted five times in victory
Ward caught two of his five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 24-21 win over New Orleans.
Impact
Ward continues to see healthy target totals. He has at least three in all but one game this season, and at least five in all but four outings. He hasn't converted the opportunities into yardage however, as he has topped 45 yards just twice all year, and the Eagles' change at quarterback to Jalen Hurts didn't spark Ward to break that pattern.

•
ROTOWIRE
Finds end zone in defeat
Ward caught three of his five targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-16 loss to Green Bay.
Impact
The 25-year-old's fourth touchdown of the season and first over his last five games was the first of Jalen Hurts' career and came in the fourth quarter. The 32-yard bomb helped get Ward to his highest yardage total since Week 3. He'll be tough to count on in Week 14 against the Saints.

Collects just one catch on MNF
Ward secured one of his three targets for three yards during Monday's 23-17 loss to Seattle.
Impact
Philadelphia tight ends and backs accounted for 59.5 percent of the team's target share Monday night, while there was not a single Eagles wideout to break 16 receiving yards or tally a touchdown. The past three games with both Alshon Jeffery and Jalen Reagor active, Ward has managed just 17 receiving yards per contest with zero scores. Provided more ample opportunities Weeks 1 through 8, Ward accumulated 30.4 yards per game while chalking up three total touchdowns, but it might take another rash of injuries to the position group for him to return to that level of production.

ROTOWIRE
Held to nine yards in loss
Ward caught three of four targets for nine yards in Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Browns.
Impact
Ward has at least three catches in eight games this year but has now been held to 10 or fewer yards in two of his past three outings. He has held onto the third receiver's job so far despite the return of Alshon Jeffery, yet even prior to that, had only topped 45 yards in a game once all season. The 25-year-old will want to have a big game in a prime matchup against Seattle in Week 12 if he wants to keep earning opportunities going forward.

Five catches in loss
Ward caught five of his six targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Giants.
Impact
Ward has topped 40 yards just once this season, all the way back in Week 3. He does have three touchdowns on the year, but with most of the Eagles offense now healthy, there is a good chance his opportunities will be reduced going forward.

ROTOWIRE
Limited to three catches Sunday
Ward finished Sunday's 23-9 win over the Cowboys with three receptions for 10 yards on five targets.
Impact
Though the Eagles welcomed two of their injured pass catchers in Jalen Reagor (thumb) and Dallas Goedert (lower leg/ankle) back to the lineup, their returns didn't affect Ward from a playing-time standpoint. Ward was on the field for 59 of the Eagles' 63 offensive snaps, but he couldn't take advantage of a suspect Cowboys secondary, as his 10 receiving yards were his second fewest of the season. Ward's situation isn't likely to improve in the second half of the season, as Alshon Jeffery (calf) and Miles Sanders (knee) could both re-enter the Eagles' pass-catching mix following the team's Week 9 bye.
