Impact Though the Bills ultimately weren't able to keep pace with the high-octane Kansas City offense, Knox did his part to stake Buffalo to an early 9-0 lead. His three-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter was his second score of the postseason, continuing his late-season trend of being a key weapon for quarterback Josh Allen in the red zone. Knox failed to find paydirt through the team's first 10 games of the season -- he missed four contests in that span due to various issues -- before he scored five times in the Bills' final nine games (including playoffs), drawing 12 red-zone looks during that stretch. The Bills are unlikely to add much competition at the position through the draft, free agency or trade market this offseason, so Knox should retain his spot atop the depth chart entering the 2021 campaign.

Impact Drops have been a problem for Knox in his two years in the league, but none of the six misfires Sunday fell into that category. While Knox never eclipsed 51 receiving yards in a game this season, he's become the clear No. 1 tight end for the Bills and has at least four targets in each of the past five games. With Cole Beasley (knee) looking iffy for Saturday's playoff game, Knox could be counted on even more in the short-to-mid range passing game.

Impact Buffalo dominated through the air during a Week 16 drubbing of the Patriots, with Knox finishing as the team's No. 2 receiver on a night that consisted of 320 passing yards and four passing scores from Josh Allen. Lee Smith hauled in one of the TDs, and star wideout Stefon Diggs the other three, as Knox remains with three scores of his own on the season (all coming since Week 12). It didn't help that he dropped an easy score from Josh Allen that was right in his hands. A regular-season finale against Miami's top-ranked scoring defense will be challenging, especially with the unit having surrendered the eighth-fewest receptions to opposing tight ends on the year.
