Won't suit up in Week 10 Claypool (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Impact Claypool suffered the toe injury in Monday's win over the Bears, and while an MRI alleviated initial fears that it could be season ending, he'll still sit out against Detroit. With Claypool sidelined, James Washington and Ray-Ray McCloud will take on larger roles behind No. 1 wide receiver Diontae Johnson. Luckily for the Steelers, they should have no trouble mitigating the impact of Claypool's absence by running their offense through workhorse running back Najee Harris against a Lions defense that has allowed 16 scrimmage touchdowns to running backs -- tied with the Jets for the most in the league.
