Links up with Lions
The Lions and Perriman agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact
Like father, like son. Upon joining the fifth team of his career, Perriman will move on to Detroit, where his father Brett spent most of his 10-year career. The younger Perriman has found life as a deep threat the past three seasons, ripping off 18.2 YPC and 11 touchdowns on his 82 receptions. There's a clear opening in the Lions' passing attack with all of Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones and Danny Amendola moving on, so Perriman should be a regular target of Jared Goff in 2021.

Totals 505 receiving yards in 2020
Perriman caught three of six targets for 84 yards in Sunday's season-ending 28-14 loss to New England.
Impact
Perriman suited up in 12 games after signing a one-year deal with New York, catching 30 balls for 505 yards and three touchdowns. His best stretch came when gun-slinging backup Joe Flacco took over under center, as starter Sam Darnold failed to push the ball downfield to the speedster with any consistency. Perriman's fantasy outlook next season will be determined by where he ends up in free agency, as he needs a strong-armed quarterback to maximize his skill set, which consists primarily of catching deep balls.

Late-season slump continues
Perriman caught none of his six targets and rushed once for six yards in Sunday's 23-16 win over Cleveland.
Impact
Perriman dropped what would have been a chunk gain down the sideline on the opening drive and failed to come down with either of his other two first-half targets. He finally got the ball in his hands on an end-around early in the third quarter but had a would-be long touchdown go through his hands later in the quarter and ended up without a reception all afternoon. With just one catch over his last two games and five catches in the past four contests, Perriman's trending in the wrong direction ahead of next week's season finale against the stingy New England secondary.

Just one target in team's first win
Perriman caught his lone target for 21 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Rams.
Impact
New York shockingly played from ahead throughout the game, so the offense was able to settle into a rhythm consisting of runs and safe, short throws rather than downfield shots to Perriman. Assuming the Jets are unable to carry over the momentum from their first win of the season into a Week 16 matchup with the likely playoff-bound Browns, Perriman should get more opportunities to stretch the field against the mistake-prone Cleveland secondary.

Turns in full practice
Perriman (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
After being limited in the Jets' first Week 15 practice Wednesday, Perriman's upgrade to full activity clears the way for him to play Sunday against the Rams. Meanwhile, Jamison Crowder (calves) returned to practice as a limited participant Thursday, and Denzel Mims (personal) rejoined the team Wednesday, leaving the Jets poised to have their top three receivers all available in the same game for one of the few times this season.

Limited practice on tap
Perriman (shoulder) will be limited at practice Wednesday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Impact
Limited practices on Wednesday have been the norm for Perriman, who's been managing a shoulder issue, but we'd expect him to be cleared to play in advance of Sunday's game against the Rams. With Denzel Mims (personal) slated to practice Wednesday and Jamison Crowder (calf) expected back on the field Thursday, the Jets could have all three of their top wide receivers available for Week 15 action.

Does little with six targets
Perriman caught three of six targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 40-3 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact
He led the Jets in targets and tied Braxton Berrios for the team lead in receptions, but Perriman failed to do much with his opportunities. The 27-year-old wideout has managed only an 8-127-0 line on 18 targets over the last three games, giving him little momentum heading into Week 15's road matchup with the Rams.

Ramps up to full practice
Perriman (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Seahawks after practicing fully Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Perriman continued his pattern from recent weeks, starting the week in limited fashion before ramping up to full activity Friday. He caught just one pass for 22 yards last week after totaling 11 catches for 234 yards and three touchdowns over the previous three games, but he's in prime position to bounce back against the league-worst Seattle pass defense. With Denzel Mims (personal) out and Jamison Crowder (calf) questionable, Perriman likely will be the top option in the Jets' passing game.

Another limited session
Perriman (shoulder) will remain limited at practice Thursday, Connor Hughes of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Over the last few weeks, Perriman has been limited both Wednesday and Thursday, before practicing fully Friday. Look for that pattern to occur once again in Week 14. If it it does, Perriman should approach Sunday's game against the Seahawks minus an injury designation and would be set to head the team's wideout corps this weekend along with Jamison Crowder, as Denzel Mims (personal) will be unavailable for the contest.
