The offseason acquisition has battled a few different injuries this season but had his best game of the season last time out, burning New England for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Both of those touchdowns were thrown by backup Joe Flacco, who will likely be under center again with Sam Darnold (shoulder) doubtful.

Fortunately, the issue doesn't look to be anything that should trouble the wideout too much in Sunday's game against the Chargers, as head coach Adam Gase said Thursday that he expects Perriman will be ready to play this weekend, according to Connor Hughes of The Athletic. Perriman turned in his best outing of the season in the Jets' last game Nov. 9, reeling in five of seven targets for 101 yards and two scores in a 30-27 loss to New England.

Big game Monday Perriman caught five of seven targets for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's 30-27 loss to the Patriots.

Impact Perriman was targeted deep early in Monday's contest, and after an unsuccessful end-zone look prior, he ran free on play action for a 50-yard touchdown grab to begin the second quarter. The speedster then hauled in a 15-yard score after halftime, contributing toward easily his best performance of this season. The fact that Perriman's production came while the Jets had each of their top three wideouts healthy for the first time this season is interesting to note, but now fantasy owners will need to wait a week to see whether Perriman can maintain his success when New York returns from its bye to face the Chargers in Week 11.

Impact Perriman missed just a single game after suffering a concussion late in the Week 7 loss to the Bills. The Jets are slated to have all three of their top projected wideouts play together for the first time this season as Jamison Crowder (groin) is also trending toward being active for Monday's contest; however, the positive health news about the wide receivers is mitigated somewhat by the news that Sam Darnold aggravated his shoulder injury and is doubtful to play in the prime-time affair.

Impact Coach Adam Gase said earlier Friday that Perriman had reached the final stage of the concussion protocol, and the receiver's full participation in Friday's practice suggests that he's at least very close to clearing the protocol entirely if he hasn't already done so. With the benefit of an extra recovery day before Monday's game against the Patriots, Perriman seems to be trending toward playing, though he'll need to officially clear the concussion protocol to suit up.
