Deni Avdija - Starting Monday
Avdija will slide into the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Cavs.
Impact
The Wizards will be without both Kyle Kuzma (ankle) and Bradley Beal (foot) Monday, so Kristaps Porzingis will be tasked with the heavy lifting on offense while guys like Avdija, Corey Kispert and Monte Morris will also see more shots falling their way. Avdija put up 24 points to go with a full stat line his last time out, so he could be someone to think about as a streamer.

Bradley Beal - Ruled out Monday
Beal (foot) is out for Monday's contest against the Cavaliers.
Impact
Beal will officially miss his second straight game as he tends to a foot injury. The 29-year-old was present for the team's shootaround Monday morning, indicating that he should not be too far away from returning to Washington's lineup. The Wizards' next outing comes Wednesday against the Hornets.

Anthony Gill - Available Monday
Gill (COVID-19 protocols) is available for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
Impact
Gill missed the last five games due to the league's health and safety protocols but will be able to suit up Monday. He isn't a guarantee to see the court when healthy, but he could see some playing time against Cleveland since Kyle Kuzma (ankle) has been ruled out.

Bradley Beal - Present for shootaround
Beal (foot), who is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, took part in the Wizards' morning shootaround, Ava Wallace of The Washington Post reports.
Impact
Washington may not provide a formal update on Beal's status for Monday's contest until closer to the 7 p.m. ET opening tip, but the standout shooting guard's involvement in shootaround bodes well for his chances of putting an end to a one-game absence. Corey Kispert drew the start in Beal's stead during Saturday's loss to the Nets and played 37 minutes, but Kispert would presumably head to the bench and see a reduction in playing time if Beal is available Monday.

Anthony Gill - Draws questionable tag for Monday
Gill (COVID-19 protocols) has been upgraded to questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
Impact
Gill is usually not a lock to see the floor most nights, but maybe that changes with Kyle Kuzma (ankle) unavailable Monday. The third-year forward has averaged just 9.8 minutes per game across 36 appearances this season.

Bradley Beal - Questionable for Monday
Beal (foot) is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Cavaliers.
Impact
Beal sat out the second leg of a back-to-back on Saturday with some soreness in his left foot, which resulted in Corey Kispert getting the spot start and a larger usage rate for Kristaps Porzingis and Monte Morris. It'll be more of the same if he's out again Monday, which would put Kispert on the radar as a potential streamer.

Anthony Gill - Still out
Gill (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Cleveland.
Impact
Gill will miss a fifth straight game due to COVID-19 protocols. He was a DNP-CD in his last game before landing in protocols, so his absence hasn't been a major blow to Washington's rotation.

Kyle Kuzma - Won't play Monday
Kuzma (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Cavaliers.
Impact
Kuzma left Saturday's game against the Nets with a left ankle sprain and will be sidelined for at least one contest due to the issue. The severity of the sprain isn't known yet, but his next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Hornets. Anthony Gill (COVID-19 protocols) remains sidelined, so Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert will presumably see increased minutes in Kuzma's absence, while Will Barton, who's played sparingly since the since the end of December, may get another chance in the rotation.

Monte Morris - Comes close to double-double
Morris finished with 18 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Saturday's 125-123 loss to Brooklyn.
Impact
Morris missed two clutch free throws late in the fourth quarter, but aside from that, the floor general had a strong performance and posted decent numbers as Washington's main playmaker. The veteran has scored in double digits in all but one of his last 11 outings and is also averaging 5.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds during that stretch.

Deni Avdija - Shines against Nets
Avdija closed with 23 points (6-14 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-12 FT), six rebounds, four steals and three assists across 34 minutes during Saturday's 125-123 loss to Brooklyn.
Impact
After a lackluster outing in Friday's loss to the Trail Blazers in which he played just 15 minutes, Avdija benefited from Kyle Kuzma's (ankle) first-half exit as well as Bradley Beal's (foot) absence. While absorbing most of Kuzma's vacated playing time, Avdija contributed across the board, with his poor free-throw shooting taking an even bigger fantasy line off the table. Avdija looks like he may need the Wizards to be missing one of their regular starters in order to see consistent playing time, so fantasy managers should pay attention to news pertaining to Beal and Kuzma in order to get a sense of what Avdija's role might look like in Washington's next game Monday versus the Cavaliers.

Kristaps Porzingis - Explodes for 38 points in loss
Porzingis accumulated 38 points (11-20 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 12-13 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 33 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 125-123 loss to the Nets...
Impact
The Wizards got off to a dominant start and led by 20 points before crumbling in the second half. Despite the meltdown, Porzingis notched an excellent fantasy line in a game in which Bradley Beal (foot) sat out and Kyle Kuzma (ankle) departed early in the first half. In his three games since returning from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury of his own, Porzingis has been as good as ever with averages of 29.0 points, 7.3 boards, 4.3 assists, 2.7 blocks, 2.7 three-pointers and 1.0 steals in 32.7 minutes.
