Impact The Raptors haven't provided an official update for Poeltl after he underwent an MRI on his left groin. With Toronto's starting center sidelined for at least one game, Kelly Olynyk will likely step into a large role and will offer plenty of upside for fantasy managers in need of a short-term pickup.

Impact The rookie was efficient while tying Kelly Olynyk for the team-high mark in steals. Walter has provided a spark for the Raptors thus far, and in his last five outings since moving back to the bench, he has averaged 9.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 40.9 percent from the field across 23.2 minutes per contest. The 20-year-old should continue to receive fairly significant playing time, especially with Immanuel Quickley (elbow) and Scottie Barnes (ankle) sidelined for an extended period.

Impact Olynyk has played in four straight games after missing the first month and a half of the season due to a back injury. However, he didn't surpass 15 minutes in any of those contests. If Jakob Poeltl (groin) is forced to miss time after leaving Monday's loss to the Bulls early, Olynyk may be thrust into an expanded role, but his current conditioning levels may not allow him to play more than 20 minutes.

Impact The Raptors are expected to provide a prognosis for Poeltl once the results of the MRI are available, likely at some point Monday. Poeltl recorded six points (3-7 FG), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes before checking out of the game with 10:12 remaining in the contest due to the injury. If Poeltl isn't available for Thursday's game against the Nets, the Raptors would likely lean on Kelly Olynyk and Jonathan Mogbo to cover most of the minutes at center, with Chris Boucher presumably getting more playing time at power forward.
