Another 20-point game in win Banchero recorded 23 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 126-120 victory over the Pacers.

Impact Banchero wasted no time in getting the Magic rolling on offense, racking up 13 points in the first quarter on 3-of-4 shooting from the field while also going 6-of-6 at the free-throw line. He entered the half with 17 points, but added just one more bucket on six attempts over the final two quarters to finish second on the team with 23 points. After failing to reach the 20-point mark in six straight games, Banchero has now recorded 23 points in back-to-back contests. However, he's averaging just 5.5 rebounds per game this month and has grabbed three or fewer boards in two of his last three contests.

Impact Banchero was unusually passive in the victory, scoring fewer than 20 points for the fifth straight game. After a strong start to the season, Banchero has certainly slowed of late, sitting outside the top 160 over the past month. While he should be viewed as a must-roster player, his struggles shooting the ball have become a real issue when it comes to his overall appeal. With that said, poor shooting is nothing new when it comes to rookie players, so managers should not be at all surprised.

Impact Banchero tied a career high with five turnovers and his efficiency from the field left something to be desired, but he shot better than usual from the free-throw line and supplemented his offense with excellent production in the defensive categories. He's now nabbed at least one steal in five straight games and has recorded exactly three steals in two straight contests, bringing his per-game average up to 1.0 per game for the season. With the Magic guards getting healthier, however, Banchero has seen his assist rate plummet of late. He's surpassed five assists just once in Orlando's last 10 games.
