Impact Bonga had an extremely efficient outing as Germany outlasted Brazil on Tuesday. The squad survived a rough second quarter, and Germany went on to win by a comfortable margin with the forward stepping up on the offensive end. Despite not being known as a great perimeter shooter, especially during his four-year stint in the NBA, the 24-year-old has now shot a combined 5-for-7 from range through two group-phase games. Bonga has accumulated 26 points and eight boards in the group stage, and he has played at least 20 minutes in both contests.

Rejoins NBA club Bonga was recalled from the G League by the Raptors on Friday, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Impact Bonga has been with the Raptors 905 in the G League but will rejoin the NBA club ahead of Friday's matchup with the Hawks. He's averaged 5.1 minutes in 13 NBA appearances this season and is unlikely to see any action versus Atlanta since Toronto is currently at full strength.

Impact Bonga recently returned from a roughly week-long absence due to an ankle injury to play 23 minutes for the 905 in Saturday's win over the Cleveland Charge. Though he's seemingly healthy again and rejoining the NBA team ahead of Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Bonga is unlikely to capture a rotation spot with the Raptors. He's played in just 12 NBA games all season, averaging 5.3 minutes per appearance.
