James Wiseman - On track to debut Wednesday Wiseman (recently traded) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the Celtics.
Impact Wiseman was dealt to Detroit at the deadline as part of the four-team deal that was being delayed by Gary Payton's (abdomen) failed physical, but the trade finally became official Sunday, and the 2020 No. 2 overall pick was able to practice with his the Pistons on Monday. Given he's had multiple days to work with his new teammates, Wiseman should be handed at least a backup role during his debut, but Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com believes he could claim the starting center gig before too long. In 21 appearances for Golden State this season, Wiseman averaged 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per game.

Marvin Bagley III - Won't play Wednesday Bagley (hand) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against the Celtics.
Impact Bagley, who hasn't played since Jan. 2, will remain out for the Pistons' final game before the All-Star break, but head coach Dwane Casey said Friday that the 2018 first-round pick is "getting close" to a return. He'll have over a week to continue rehabbing before Detroit returns to action Feb. 23 against the Magic, so hopefully, the team releases another update before then.

Marvin Bagley III - Closing in on return Pistons head coach Dwane Casey said Friday that Bagley (hand) is "getting close" to a return to the court, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports.
Impact At the same time, Casey acknowledged that he wasn't sure on a timeline for a return for Bagley, who will most likely sit out the Pistons' final game before the All-Star break Wednesday in Boston before being reassessed during the midseason intermission. Prior to fracturing his right hand in early January and undergoing surgery, he had been serving as the backup center behind Jalen Duren, but Bagley could find himself outside of the rotation once healthy after the Pistons brought aboard another former No. 2 overall pick -- James Wiseman -- at last week's trade deadline.

Isaiah Stewart - Drills three triples Stewart finished Sunday's 119-118 loss to the Raptors with 16 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 38 minutes.
Impact Though he served as the starting power forward alongside Jalen Duren, Stewart ended up seeing some elevated playing time due to being the Pistons' only available center at one point in the contest when Duren headed to the locker room to have an ankle injury evaluated. Duren was able to return to the contest and should be good to go moving forward, while the Pistons could have new trade acquisition James Wiseman as well as Nerlens Noel (personal) available in their next game Wednesday against the Celtics to add further depth at center. As a result, Stewart's path to playing time at center looks to be fairly muddled moving forward, and he may have to settle for minutes in the upper 20s and low 30s as the Pistons' starting power forward since head coach Dwane Casey still wants to find work for second-year reserve forward Isaiah Livers.

Jaden Ivey - Shows improved efficiency Sunday Ivey finished Sunday's 119-118 loss to the Raptors with 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven assists and two rebounds in 27 minutes.
Impact Despite playing 17 fewer minutes than he did two days earlier in a double-overtime win over the Spurs, Ivey came through with a better all-around fantasy performance due to largely to the fact that he went from 3-for-15 shooting from the field to 6-for-11. Ivey's 41.8/72.8/33.5 percent shooting splits for the season suggest that he can't be counted on to produce his offense as efficiently as he did Sunday, but it's at least encouraging to see that the rookie has been able to continue producing assists since moving to an off-ball role following Killian Hayes' re-entry into the starting group. In the three games since Hayes moved back to the top unit, Ivey has averaged 5.3 assists.

Impact The four teams agreed to the deal Thursday, but the trade was held up through the weekend after the Warriors expressed concern about the health of Gary Payton (abdomen), who failed his physical Friday. Though Payton looks set to miss most of what's left of the regular season due to an injury the Trail Blazers are alleged to have not fully disclosed during trade discussions, Golden State still agreed to sign off on the deal. As a result, all of the players involved in the trade are now eligible to formally join their teams. Wiseman should be able to get in some practice time Monday and Tuesday, likely making him an option for Detroit on Wednesday in Boston during the Pistons' final game before the All-Star break. Shortly after the trade was completed Thursday, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reported that the Pistons' plan was to have Wiseman step in as their starting center, but at least initially, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft seems likely to work in a backup capacity behind Jalen Duren.

Impact It's his best scoring performance since he popped for 19 against the Pelicans on Jan. 13, and Diallo's seven boards were also his best effort on the glass since that game. The fifth-year wing's production and court time haven't been consistent lately. Coming into Sunday, he'd seen 18 minutes or less in four straight contests, making him tough to rely on for fantasy purposes.

Impact The veteran guard found his touch from the outside after going just 7-for-30 (23.3 percent) from three-point range over the prior six games and scoring in single digits in five of them. Burks is still capable of posting strong numbers when he sees big minutes, but his current bench role makes his workload inconsistent.

Impact The 33-year-old topped 30 points for a second straight game, and in both contests Bogdanovic did significant damage at the free-throw line, going 20-for-21 across both games -- the only two times all season he's sunk double-digit shots from the charity stripe. With the trade deadline now behind him, Bogdanovic will remain the veteran focal point of an otherwise very young Detroit offense.
